How To Avoid Getting Run Down Over Winter

topshop red blazerShop the blazer dress online here before it sells out again (two in one, it acts as a coat and a dress) / Hair colour & cut by Sassoon and blow dry by Show Beauty in Nottinghill.

As most of you will know if you’ve ever read the health and fitness section of my blog, I’m a lover of all things balanced, things in moderation and eating well and moving more. I am not, ever, someone who condones deprivation, diets in any form or calorie counting. I get that some things work for different people, but I’m all about balance and moderation. One thing I’m not too good at, and vow to be better at in 2018, is keeping a routine and looking after my health in other ways, e.g., my immune system and my wellbeing. Today’s blog post is all about gut health and the immune system as it’s the time of the year where partying late, having no sleep and drinking a little too much can take it’s toll. Now, I’m NEVER going to be here to make you feel guilty for enjoying your wine, cheese or life, so instead, I thought I’d do a little list of ways you can be kinder to your immune system this winter and still enjoy the festivities so you don’t crash and burn by the time January comes around! This is in partnership with Bimuno.

However, in life, there are also some things you can change and some things we can do things about so I thought I’d write a blog post with some ways I personally think you can make 2018 your best year yet whether it’s in the workplace, in the gym or just in life itself. Let’s do this.

New Years Eve Beauty Products With Armani

Photos taken at The Bells Luxury Apartments /

New Years eve is a funny one isn't it? Knowing whether to go in or out, knowing whether to dress up or down. Then, deciding what to wear. Whether it's a date night out, a date night in or, a night out with your ladies... my favourite thing about New Years is feeling confident and pampered, for myself. For me, as a beauty lover, it's all about the preparation. Getting out of a steamy shower, a fresh blow dry and then, getting cosy in my dressing gown to apply my favourite make up. Just give me any excuse to have a pamper, even if it's for a date night in. People always assume that we apply make up to impress people but actually, I apply make up because it makes me feel incredible. Let's talk about the best Armani products for a New Years eve pamper. This is in partnership with Armani.

Christmas Shopping At Monks Cross

monks cross york
Shop the coat here and similar here and here  / lipstick

I'm a shopaholic, as a few people have pointed out that watch my hauls, I spend an 'obscene' (not my words) amount (or at least, show an obscene amount) of clothes on my channel, oops. I guess fashion has always been my passion, without meaning to rhyme and we can all spend our money on whatever we'd like to. Some people collect stamps, some people collect vintage disks but I, well, collect clothes. What people don't see though, is the behind the scenes, eg, me giving bags away to charity every month and therefore, I see it as 'recycling' the clothes for better use. There are, of course, many items which end up being key items in my wardrobe for years and years, but some others are just trend pieces. Now we've cleared that up, let's talk about some Christmas shopping. If you watched my recent Topshop haul, you'll probably remember me saying how weird it was to actually step foot into shops recently, rather than do my shopping online. It was definitely therapeutic and actually, felt great to touch things in store. I've never been a lover of trying stuff on and much prefer to go home and do it, but, Monks Cross invited me to take part in a shopping challenge and seen as I'm home from London for Christmas and it's just down the road, I couldn't say no. Let's see what I picked up. Warning: The coat addiction goes even further.  This is in partnership with Monks Cross.

Merry Christmas! I hope you all had and are continuing to have a wonderful festive season! Obviously, all the best sales happen today so I thought I'd put a blog post up with a round up of all the best Christmas and boxing day sales if you wanted to shop online today including some of my favourite clothes this year which are now heavily reduced! I mean, the shops will be so busy so you'll find me in my pajamas with a glass of something sparkly, shopping online. Enjoy!

How I Balance My Relationships And Friendships

Conrad Maldives underwater restaurant

When was the last time you were genuinely engaged in what someone was saying to you? Do you make time for your loved ones? Do you make time for your friends? How do you keep your relationship alive? We live in an always-switched-on world, I struggle to sleep because I’ll be so busy on my phone or laptop, I’m busy on my phone so forget to be present in the moment sometimes. Today, I want to give my top tips for balance in relationships. This is in partnership with Yushoi.

Important Lessons I Have Learnt This Year. 23 Things I've Learnt At 23

Topshop Velvet Blazer Dress
Shop the blazer dress online here before it sells out again (two in one, it acts as a coat and a dress) / Hair colour & cut by Sassoon and blow dry by Show Beauty in Nottinghill.

It's here, my birthday week. On Friday 22nd December it's officially my birthday. I always get kinda sad for a second on my birthday as I get scared that I'm getting old but then I remember what my Grandad always told me, it's a blessing to grow old. Also, age is just a number. My Mum is 53 and is the most youthful person ever. My Grandad is 85 and banters me as if he's 21 again. Growing old is good, it means your body is working and you're healthy. So, cheers to growing old (disgracefully). I'm joking though about 'feeling old', I'm only a baby (in my eyes anyway still). I've learnt a lot this year, in fact, I feel like this last year has probably been the biggest year of learning for me. So, to welcome in my birthday this Friday, I thought I'd write a blog post about the important lessons I've learnt this year. If you like this, please do share it as I see it as a little bit of a 'life manual' for us all. Here are 23 things in 23 years.

Christmas Party Essentials & Me Time This Christmas

another hotels the lake district
Ah another festive post from me (are you up to date with my Christmas gifting posts?!), so today I wanted to write a blog post all about Christmas party essentials and I guess, my ways of having me-time throughout the crazy month of December. Christmas is my favourite time of the year, mainly because it’s full of all the festivities, good food, good wine and my family are all together. It's not about what's under the tree it's about who's around it. It comes around incredibly quick though and I can’t believe we are already in December. It's my birthday on the 22nd so I don't really get into crazy Christmas mode until the 23rd! Birthday first then Christmas. Today I wanted to talk you through a few Christmas essentials because well, it is the most wonderful time of the year and it's just round the corner, so let’s do this.

Winter Party Outfit Ideas

black leather military jacketI'm a sucker for a nice winter outfit and on this blog post, I've got two to show you. If you've watched any of my haul videos, you'll know I get a little overly excited when it comes to winter clothes. Overly excited? More like borderline obsessed. No-one needs as many coats/jackets/fluffy things but hey, life is for living and fashion? That's how I get my kicks. Do you know what I also love though? Clothes that don't cost the earth, but look expensive. I guess that's why I'm excited to show you these pieces, a 4 key pieces to take you through winter and keep you looking fierce. Read on.

Pre-Christmas Wellbeing Tips

If you’ve read any of my recent fitness blog posts you’ll know that over the last few months I’ve really been focusing on fitness from a wellbeing point of view. I’ve always adored working out, it truly is my passion but many of us work so hard in the gym and forget to exercise for our minds too. Something I’ve been taking a lot more time for this year is yoga. It's something I used to do every day when I lived in Canada. It’s something that does take time but makes you feel incredible. Recently, I just haven’t had much time and haven't been feeling well (I've actually had to take quite some time out of exercising) so I’ve been practicing at home when I can’t get to my gym. Today I want to talk to you about some important wellbeing practices you can do anywhere and an easy tool for yoga and stretching at home.

A White Christmas; Styling A White Coat And Monochrome Outfit

faux fur pom pom hatI'd be lying if I said I wasn't dreaming of a white Christmas. I don't think I even remember having a white Christmas, ever. I used to live in Canada so we had snow all the time but in the UK, not so much. I'm probably one of the few people who love it when it snows, as cold as it makes me, it also makes me feel all fuzzy, cosy and festive. Today I'm styling up a monochrome outfit, something that totally reminded me of a white Christmas, with it's simple and smart all black base for a sleek yet comfortable look and then a white coat over the top for extra coziness and smartness. Look out for the 'shop' feature on this blog post too for similar items too. I hope you'll enjoy this winter style post. This is in partnership with Topshop.

Giving Back This Christmas - A Personal Post

Shop the look: Jumper and similar here / scarf

Hey guys! A bit of a personal post from me today, something close to my heart. I've definitely changed a lot in the last few years, I often think about the things I've been through and how they've shaped me as a person and I'm glad these things have happened some days because at least I'm a better person for it (at least I hope anyway). I at least try to be a better person every day but no-one is perfect. There are many things I've seen, experienced and dealt with, and they've only made me stronger and made my passions for certain things stronger too. Open to read more.

Rudding Park Rooftop Spa And Hotel, Harrogate

rudding park rooftop spa
For those of you who are regular readers (hi, I love you), you will know that, like for many others, this year has been a challenging one for me: watching a close family member cope and adapt to living with a debilitating chronic illness, seeing how depression can take over even the strongest of people (it really can happen to anyone), grieving over a friend whose life was cut short way too young after suffering a terrible illness and seeing my grandad suffer numerous illnesses, thinking we may lose him. On top of what has been a hectic year to say the very least, this has been an incredibly tough one and something I wasn’t mentally or emotionally prepared for. Although there are no easy fixes to life’s challenges, I decided to treat my brother to a special present for his birthday and, a treat for my Mum too. I feel lucky every single day that my brother is still here, kicking and fighting and I know that money cannot buy happiness but, with support, care and love, it can make hard days easier. My Mum has been through an incredibly tough year too, and somehow, through all these difficult years, not crumbling, not once. Honestly? I don’t know how she’s done it. She’s my biggest inspiration. I decided to treat the two most important people in my life to a trip nearby to Rudding Park for some relaxation and I couldn’t be more excited to tell you about this place. Read on for more.

Healthy, Warming Banoffee Breakfast Oats Recipe

If you’ve ever read any of my health and fitness posts, you’ll know I swear by breakfast. Breakfast is so important for a number of reasons (read why breakfast is so important here). A healthy, balanced breakfast can satisfy morning hunger pangs and it kicks the day off in the right way. I find if I have a healthy breakfast, I generally continue the rest of the way in that day. I always say it but see your body as a car and it needs fuel to energise it. I really want to share the dreamiest breakfast recipe today, perfect for cosy autumn mornings. *This post is sponsored by Quaker Oats

Overworking and Overthinking. The Art Of Overworking?

missguided jumper dress

Jumper dress online here / hair by Sassoon / imagery by Oscar May

It’s not an art really, is it, overworking ourselves so much so that we’re ill but it's increasing. The art of running ourselves into the ground. I wasn't good at maths but give me an exam on overworking and I'll ace it. I see the same pattern in my friends and actually, I saw it in my Mum growing up too. For some reason, I often push myself so hard that I feel incredibly unwell, exhausted, stressed and I know so many of you do too. There seems to be an obsession with running ourselves into the ground, whether it’s to prove someone wrong, to better yourself or just because you like the taste of success. Today I'm gonna talk about this and break it down. Warning: personal rambly word vomit post. I hope you enjoy.

Top Exercises For Your Well-being & Skin Loving Superfoods

sweaty Betty power leggings

Leggings / top

Hey guys, a fitness/wellbeing post today, yup, fitness and well-being, one of my favourite topics. I’ve always been a big believer in doing intense exercise to get results. You hear a lot about the power of HIIT and the power of intense things such as spin classes but what about yoga? What about relaxing our bodies from the intense stress caused by HIIT? Something that’s always stuck with me is a personal trainer friend telling me how much stress HIIT puts on our hearts and bodies, she said I shouldn’t do it *too much* which is why I now try to treat my body in other ways; with yoga, sleep, nourishment, long walks and long baths. I’m so happy to hear that more wellbeing-related activities are getting attention over the last few years, people are really starting to understand just how important it is to look after their wellbeing, they have the power to make your body look and feel great so it's a win win all round. I guess I want to talk about my experience with well-being related activities and tell you how they changed my body and my mind. I also want to talk you through some of my top skin loving superfoods, which combined with well-being activities and me time = total zen. Let's do this.

Running A Business: My Top Productivity Tips And Business Running Tips

One thing I’ve never really written about is running a business. I’ve touched on what it’s like to be a full time blogger, sponsored posts and have done posts on how to start a blog, but apart from that, I don’t delve into it too much. Whilst at University, I won a number of enterprising/business/scholarship awards (not just for my blog but for something else I did at University as well) I guess I want to use this blog post as a way to hopefully share some tips I’ve learnt along the way or to inspire you. I sat in my bed in the Mercure hotel the other day, tapping away at my keyboard whilst thinking about this blog post. I felt so productive. So motivated and so fuelled with energy for the future so I want to inject some of that into this blog post. I really hope you’ll like it, whether you’re stuck in a rut and don’t know what to do, work for yourself, are about to launch a business or maybe want to launch a business.

First and foremost, I am so sorry that this blog post is so overdue. I’m usually really good at keeping on top of my travel posts but I wrote up a blog post about Summer style in Italy and then headed straight off to loads of other countries so am just majorly behind. In my mind, I'd already featured Italy so many times on vlogs, Instagram and Twitter as well as a few blog posts here and there, I totally forgot to do an Amalfi coast round up or properly tell you about my time in Sorrento. I have, however, already featured this hotel in many places, including on my Italy vlog so don’t forget to watch that. After an incredible Summer, rushing around, I was so excited to travel to the Amalfi coast in August. It’s been on my travel hit list for the longest of times and finally, I visited. Today I’m gonna talk to you about the most wonderful hotel in Sorrento and also, give you my top tips for the Amalfi coast incase you decide to go next Summer or anytime soon.

Making Time For The People You Love, Miller & Carter Horsforth

topshop jumper dress

Shop the jumper dress /

Last week I was invited to try out the new Miller & Carter in Horsforth. I studied at the University of Leeds and Horsforth isn’t too far away, it gave me the perfect excuse to catch up with my best friend (over the thing we both love best, food) and actually, inspired this blog post. Making time for the people we love is incredibly important, I guess I’ve always known that deep down, but it’s only when certain things happen, that we truly realise that. I’ve seen beautiful souls lose their lives this year and it only continues to instill that get up and go drive in me, it makes me wanna chase my dreams, work hard but also, rest more, be kinder to myself and, be kinder to others. It also makes me realise just how important it is to take time out of our busy schedules for each other. Don’t be so busy making a living that you forget to make a life and cherish your loved ones whilst you can. Lets eat, and chat.

The Best Instagrammable Places In Nottinghill - An Instagram Guide To Nottinghill

blogger in nottinghill

It seems like forever ago now (sorry, major backlog over here) but we finally got round to staying at The Distillery, a gin hotel on Portobello Road. A gin hotel, yep, you read that right. If you read the food section of my blog a lot, you’ll know I absolutely adore gin and, coincidently, adore Nottinghill too so it really was the perfect match. I’m always in need of places to stay in London (I live in hotels whilst house hunting) and finally managed to get a night at the Distillery (it’s hard to get booked in as it’s a tiny hotel and these rooms are so sought after). I thought I'd write a full guide featuring the hotel of course, alongside my ultimate Instagram guide to visiting Nottinghill. I'm basically an adopted resident there so I thought this makes perfect sense. You can find me on Instagram: @emshelx as the photos from this blog post are from my Instagram, it only made sense with it being an Instagrammers guide to Nottinghill. Don't miss my updated best places to eat in London guide.

Healthy, Autumn Soup!

One of my favorite things to eat in autumn is soup. It’s quick, easy, nutritious and healthy. When I was in my final year of University last year, picture a freezing cold me, in a dressing gown, wanting a hearty meal but without always having the time to make it. I was looking around the supermarket and that’s when I clicked: soup. Gone are the days of heavy sugar-added soups with preservatives, but nowadays, I see soup as hearty, healthy and usually a good way to get my vegetables. Cosy up with me for a lunch-time snack, autumn style.

Autumn Walks, Styling Up A Burberry Trench Coat And Burberry Scarf

Sometimes we have items on our wishlist and they never really leave. My wishlist is quite long, the Gucci bag of my dreams (I have banned myself from Gucci until I buy my house), that Maje leather jacket, LV boots etc. I've always been told, if you leave a store and can't stop thinking about it, then you definitely want it. These are items I've wanted as wardrobe staples for years, not just something I feel like 'I need to have'. I'm about to buy a house though, so as much as I love designer pieces, I'm cautious with what I buy (house first, designer items after). However, my list does tend to be full of designer staples, rather than 'trendy one season' pieces, I prefer to save my money and spend it on timeless, forever-wardrobe-classics. Those kind of items you can throw on and they look effortlessly fabulous. I made that phrase, but you get what I mean: when I'm spending money on something designer, I don't want to use it once, I want to love it and have it as a wardrobe staple. Now, let me introduce you to something I finally did buy, a wardrobe staple I've wanted forever with some affordable dupes at the end of this post too if you don't want to make the splurge just yet...

Sandals La Source Resort And Hotel Grenada Review

Outfit - similar online here.

If you follow me on Instagram @emshelx I’m sure you’ll have seen that I recently got back from the trip of a lifetime. This year has been fuelled by a lot of travelling and has definitely included a lot of time by the ocean but I’m certainly not complaining. Travel is definitely an addiction and I just love seeing the world. There are so many places and cultures to discover and I think that’s why I was so excited to head back to the Caribbean. I’ve visited Cuba, Jamaica and The Bahamas but I’d never even thought of Grenada. For some reason, it was never on my hit-list. That’s all about to change and it’ll change for you too. Let’s talk about my time in Grenada and also a review of Sandals La Source Grenada hotel and resort too as so many people have asked.

The Best Autumn/Fall Beauty Products

Autumn beauty products
Autumn is well and truly here and boy am I happy about it. I absolutely love autumn, probably more so this year than any year. I'm sat here waiting for the trees to turn brown and loving wrapping myself up in all the teddy bear coats and my Burberry scarf. I'm keen to light all the autumn candles, stomp in as many leaves as possible and cover my lips in all the autumunal colours. Yup. I am the most cliche person ever, call me basic, but I love to embrace every season. I decided to go through my  beauty cupboards and pick out some of my favourite autumn beauty products today just incase I wasn't already in the mood for autumn. Get cosy and enjoy!

How To Get The Perfect Work Life Balance

Hey guys, hope you are so well! Today I wanted to write a blog post all about the importance of work life balance. There’s a quote I live by, ‘don’t focus so much on making a living that you forget to make a life’ and I totally agree with this, it's something I keep reminding myself. I definitely feel work life balance is something I’ve had to teach myself over the last few years. As well as motivation too. Working for myself is a bit of a double-edged sword, I wouldn’t change it for the world and I am so grateful but I either can’t get the motivation or I have too much motivation and never put my laptop down, giving myself exhaustion and running myself into the ground. I’ve got a lot better recently so I thought I’d write a blog post about this today with some of my top tips to achieving that balance. I really hope it helps any of you struggling!

Getting Your Fitness Mojo/Motivation Back

I’m finally feeling like I’m getting back into the swing of my fitness. Fitness is one of my biggest passions and it’s really difficult to work out when you’re here, there and everywhere. It's good to be busy, but I have no routine most weeks and for me, exercise is my release so I struggle without it. I wouldn't change my job for the world but I wish I could take my gym everywhere with me. I try to workout 4-5 times a week when I’m back in my routine and I honestly feel great for it. Nothing gives me better endorphins. I’ve been trying to mix my workouts up with new things so my body doesn’t get bored and so mentally, it feels challenging and fun. In September, I told you I was taking part in a challenge which is for a great cause and means you can keep fit in the process too. Todays post is gonna be a reminder of my top tips to keep motivated when working out, how to get back on it after time off and I’ll tell you about the challenge too so you can take part.

How To Love Your Hair - How To Fix Damaged Hair

I absolutely adore my hair. There we go, I said it. It's frowned upon to say 'nice things' about ourselves but in a world full of hate and, many of us struggling with confidence, it's important to practice self-love. Believe me, it's taken me years to be in a position where I love my hair but I'm so glad I took the time to cherish it and work with it, I'm finally getting to where I want to be with it. Side note: getting your hair into a healthy position will never happen overnight if it's as damaged as mine was, we're talking years. If you've followed me for some time, I'm sure you know all about my hair story, from really bad hair extensions to trying literally every hair extension on the market to find the best ones, to my hair refusing to grow and having bald patches. My hair extensions were like a curtain of confidence for me and without them I felt really ugly, for a very long time. I'm finally cherishing and embracing my hair, loving it too. Bad hair days have ruined my confidence, trivial, but true. I've been there, done that. We've all had those days where we destroyed our hair as teens and I feel lucky that my hair has forgiven me in time. Believe me, it was hard not to crumble and just go back to extensions but finally, I have my own thick, medium length hair which is dare I say it, *growing quicker and quicker by the day* and I'm gonna talk you through some of the things I've done to get my hair back into good condition.

Judgement And Online Hate

white maxi dress with split

Hello hello hello! I've had this post ready to publish for quite a few weeks now, but I've been wondering whether or not to post it, I've hovered over the 'publish' button for far too long. I've decided to go for it only after reading my friend Victoria, from InTheFrow's post about how much words can hurt, (sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me is such an old school saying and emotional abuse/abuse via words is just as bad and damaging as physical abuse). The wonderful Victoria talks more eloquently about further things on the subject so please open that up and have a read too. Without her posting that, I wouldn't have ever published this. I guess the real reason I've been so indecisive when writing this post in the first place and then clicking publish is because as the saying goes ‘don’t feed the trolls'. Online 'trolls' absolutely live for attention, they thrive off it and it only makes them feel like they're achieving something. Let's be honest, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't, you could censor your whole life and someone will still find something negative to say online. Rather than ‘feeding the trolls’ then, I guess today my post will be all about a darker side of the internet and breaking this down a little. Let’s discuss.

10 Things I'd Tell My Younger Self About University

university of Leeds graduation
Hello hello! Today I thought I'd do a post featuring the 10 things I'd tell my younger self about University. I know a lot of you guys are just starting University or maybe pushing through second year, thinking about doing a year abroad or even battling with third year dissertations, I thought this post might help you. I graduated in July last year (read about my graduation day) so thought I'd do this from a looking back point of view.

Issho Japanese Restaurant Review Leeds

issho Leeds sushi

No matter where I am in the world, Yorkshire will always be home. I grew up in Yorkshire and studied at the University of Leeds so it’s definitely gives me those cosy homely vibes. For me, home is where the heart is and after growing up in Yorkshire, then studying in Leeds and living in Canada, it's safe to say I have a few places around the world that truly feel like home. I seem to spend 50% of my time in London and 50% in Leeds at the moment but it's always a pleasure to be back up North. If you’re Northern, you’ll know just how incredible Leeds has become over the last few years and is still, becoming on a monthly basis. I can barely keep up with all the new openings. I’ve always had high hopes for Leeds and definitely spent most of my time at University telling people how brilliant it is, or, had the potential to be. It seems, month after month, more epic restaurants are opening in Leeds and you will have hopefully seen that I recently visted a number of restaurants as part of Leeds Restaurant week. At the time I visited Issho Rooftop Restaurant and Bar and loved it so much, I promised myself I would be back soon. Fast forward and I’ve now been three times (hopefully a fourth for my brothers birthday later this month as it's now also his favourite restaurant). It only makes sense then that I give you a full review of Issho, the new addition to the Leeds restaurant scene and in my opinion, one of the best restaurants to hit Leeds in the last few years.

Our incredible California road trip seems like forever ago. We grabbed too many suitcases, hopped on our Norwegian flight and before we knew it, we were in San Francisco. We visited so many different places on our month long road trip and stayed at over 11 properties so apologies from me as my posts from the trip are taking quite some time to get through. The most important one though, my top tips for planning a West Coast California road trip, is one you should start with! I go through each place we visited, where we stayed and what we really thought of all the stops on a road trip, aqs well as talking you through our exact itinerary, budgets for a California road trip and more. If you are planning to do a California road trip, definitely give it a read! Today though, I'm writing a post I've been itching to write for a weeks. We headed to Carmel By The Sea, against everyones advice (we were told it was boring not worth stopping at which is totally fine as we all have our own opinions) but I couldn't be more glad we stopped here. Read why.

Easy, Healthy, Yogurt Recipes!

blonde balayage curls hair
When I was at University, I always tried to focus on finding delicious but nutritious snacks. My trolley in the supermarket would usually be rammed with the same things every week, cottage cheese, oats, bananas, spinach and my favourite yogurt, Onken. I was reminded of Onken the other day when I was watching TV on demand (Made in Chelsea, guilty) and noticed an advert about new personalised yogurts. The advert certainly worked and I fell for it and suddenly remembered how much I loved Onken at University, needless to say, the next day, I'd bought a tub and felt nostalgic. whilst tucking into it. Today I wanted to show you a few of my favourite health recipes using yogurt. I feel like I'm getting back on it this month with my health, finally back to my David Lloyd spin classes and I’m trying to fuel my body with filling, good snacks. Read on…

Refreshing My Fitness Goals For October

Back in August I introduced #EmsChallenge, a few things I decided to do differently and of course, you guys were of course invited to join me. I just felt it was a great way to get my mojo back and hopefully push and inspire each other. I don’t believe in deprivation but I wanted to move more, cut a few things out and see if I felt a bit better in myself. You know what? It really worked. I consciously made an effort to try new activities (finally got myself back to yoga and picked up swimming again), smile at people more and ate better foods, not less! Setting goals and promises to myself really meant I achieved my goals and pushed myself out of my comfort zone, which is why this month, I guess I want to talk about a few things I’ve continued to do in September and will continue doing in October. See this as a kind of follow on post for those of you who fancied taking the challenge and for those of you who didn’t, feel free to do it in October instead! Thanks to Robinsons Refresh’d for challenging me to do this again in October.
