I’m sure most of you have something to do with working out as your New Years resolution and I think February is a good time to look back at those resolutions and see how we’re getting on with them. Fitness has always been one of my biggest passions but in 2017 I had a fair few injuries and spent most of my time here, there and everywhere so struggled with my routine. I feel so happy that I’ve basically rested my body, understood the importance of rest days and finally, feel like I’m back in my routine this year (so far, so good). I feel like the spin queen and my mind feels epic for it. Ways I've Been Growing My Hair, Hair Strength + Spring Hair Products

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you may be pretty familiar with my hair journey. It’s certainly been a long one, it's easy to damage the hair but hair growth and hair strength certainly do not happen overnight. If you read about how my hair destroyed my confidence, you’ll know that for so long, I had unhappy hair, an unhappy scalp and hair that just refused to grow. This was all down to me damaging my hair and not treating it properly, usage of extensions and too much bleach. For years now I’ve been trialling new products, going to the best hairdressers (Lee + Louise at Sassoon) and ensuring I’m treating my hair like silk. Years on, I finally feel confident with my hair again, I finally dare to go for blow-dries and actually style it myself too and finally, feel like I’ve got to a point where my hair is growing *a hairdresser told me this week that my hair isn’t damaged which made my day* so please know I only recommend brilliant hair products that work for me. Today I want to talk about some spring hair care and some salon professional products plus give you the low down on things I’ve learnt on this hair growth and hair care journey. See this as a bit of an updated hair growth tips post too.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Resort Review

Conrad Maldives is one of those resorts that everyone talks about. It's a really special place. If you say to someone 'I stayed at Conrad Maldives' they gasp and they want to know exactly what it was like because usually, they've heard so much about it. It's certainly one of the most well known Maldivian islands and I was lucky enough to head there back in December. I apologise that this review has taken so long to get live but I had already put my Conrad Maldives travel vlog and so many Instagram's live from my trip. Today though, it's finally here, my review of Conrad Maldives. I feel lucky enough to say I've visited a fair few Maldives resorts now and they're all so different, it means I can draw positives and comparison points from them so I hope you'll find this blog post useful. I get an awful lot of emails asking me for blogging tips and tricks and quite a few about starting a business or, working for yourself. I’m a little bit of a sucker for Valentines Day, okay, a big sucker for Valentines. Whether you’re celebrating with your dog, your bestie or your partner, I love it. I get that it can be lonely, but I try not to take it too seriously, I use it as an excuse for me time. I’d happily celebrate it by myself, spoon feeding Nutella and then go for a date with Jo Malone in the bath. I know it’s a ‘marketing ploy’ but whatever, I think it can be light-hearted and fun and I fall for all of it, from Valentines chocolates, to Valentines beauty products to Valentines pyjamas (I have even bought Valentines day toast toppers before, yup, I am a marketers dream, I buy myself roses because let's face it, no-one else is gonna buy me them). I use the Valentines period as a chance to love yourself and pamper, I think this is the perfect excuse for me to write about some of my current favourite pamper tips. This doesn't mean just for today either, but I try and do weekly pamper sessions (every Sunday). There are so many little ways you can treat yourself.

I'm a sucker for Valentine's Day but I'm sure you already know that, I always have been. Just like Easter and Christmas, I like to go all out. I fall for all the balloons, the heart shaped cookies and the funny cards. I'm a sucker for romance and I'm more than happy to have a whole day dedicated to it. Things are pretty hectic at the moment so when invited Matt and I to 'get a room' in time for Valentine's, we were pretty excited, it really is never too late to get a room! We spent our weekend celebrating Valentine's early and what a dream it was. See, that's the thing about Valentines, I like to use it as a reminder to spend valuable time with someone you love, whether it's your girlfriends or your partner or your family. How I Kick Start My Week, My To Do List

Hey guys, hope you’re well today! As most of you probably know, I absolutely love thinking of new ways I can feel inspired or motivated. It’s 2018, a new year and whilst I know some people don’t like seeing the new year as a way to kick start, they see it as just another day, I personally think it’s a great excuse. I know it is technically just ‘another day’ but hey, whether it’s a Monday that inspires you or a new year, a new month, use it, grab it and go for it.
