When the opportunity to work with one of my favourite brands of all time popped up, I couldn't say no. Clinique were the first beauty brand I ever used, recommended by my Grandma (a life-long fan) and my Mum. My Mum took me to a Clinique store when I was young and I was given my first 3-step facial routine. I have loved the brand ever since. More recently, I've loved Clinique for their amazing make up products. One product I've never used by the brand though is an eye-cream. As someone who stresses herself out a lot, burns the candles at both ends and just doesn't get enough sleep, I'm always on the hunt for good eye creams. I suffer from always looking a little bit tired so today, I am really excited to introduce you to their new product, Pep-Start Eye Cream. But, some more exciting news, not only am I introducing you to a new product but I'm also giving you a behind the scenes look at their new #ImIn campaign which I was lucky to be a part of. I can't wait to show you what we got up to on the day filming the campaign with Clinique...

My Favourite Easy Healthy Things To Add To Your Diet; Maintaining A Healthy Living Routine
Hello hello hello! Seen as my last fitness post went down so well (thank you so much if you've had a read, you can take a look at it here if you missed it), I decided to write another fitness related post. I'm hoping you're all still keeping going with the January gym hype! I'm often asked what I eat and actually get quite a lot of emails asking this too, I have already written a kind of 'my favourite healthy foods post' which you can find here but today I wanted to talk about a few easy, simple steps you can take to make your meals more nutritional I guess whilst showing you a few secret super-foods which are always in my cupboard. If you read my blog a lot, you'll know I'm all about little changes which make big differences. I don't believe in fad diets, in fact, I don't believe in diets at all, I believe in well-being and lifestyle choices. So let's discuss...

Fixing My Skin - Getting Rid Of Underneath Skin Spots
Hello hello! So today I wanted to talk to you about my updated skincare routine. I've actually dreamt about writing this post for so long but I really wanted to wait until my skin was completely back to normal before I wrote it. I've always been fortunate to have clear skin with just hormonal break outs once a month at the time of the month. If you follow me on social media or read my blog a lot, you'll know that in September, my skin completely changed. I got the weirdest under-skin spots all over my cheeks and jaw line which was very unlike me. At first, I put it down to stress, if you read my honesty post, back in September you'll know that I was feeling so anxious and was going through a lot of emotional stress too. I tried to change a lot of things in order to fix my skin, I started to drink more water and even cut dairy out of my diet (dairy is back now don't worry). I basically tried everything I could to stop these weird rash like spots and couldn't figure out where they'd come from or what was causing them. I felt the lowest I'd ever felt about my skin. Let's discuss...

A Spa Day At Home; Champneys Detox In A Box Review
I’m a sucker for body products, anyone who knows me will know this. I’m a little bit obsessed with exfoliators, body butters, body oils, you name it. I guess I just love polishing my body and making sure my skin is at it’s smoothest and happiest. I exercise and eat well so why not look after my body in the shower/bath too? We all talk about healthy eating and fitness but rarely touch on looking after the skin we’re in with suitable products. Nothing makes me happier than a spa break or a nice long candle lit bath (give me a beautiful massage any day please). Unfortunately though, we can’t always just waltz off on a spa break though and that’s where this comes in, Champneys new detox range. I am so excited to talk to you about this. Champneys is one of the best well being spas around and I am all for well being, which is just one of the reasons I adore Champneys - they’re not about faddy diets/products, they’re all about well being and looking after YOU. If you’ve read any of my health and fitness posts you’ll know that I’m forever promoting healthy living and happy thoughts as a lifestyle choice rather than fad diets and ‘quick fixes'. This at home package is honestly the perfect treat to relax you and make you feel fresh (particularly at the moment because it’s freezing outside and I feel like my skin needs some extra love!), and will fit in perfectly with any healthy eating and exercise you’re doing this month after Christmas. The benefits of this revitalising range are designed to make you start the year feeling fresh. I’m in! Let’s discuss…

Pinafores, Breakfast at Sketch London & Make Up At Illamasqua!
When I was in London recently, I got the chance to take my new little pinafore out for a spin. This was quite a while ago but for some reason, I never published this post! I love cute little outfits like this, comfortable, easy to wear but cute. My Grandad would laugh if he saw me in it, he'd probably say I was dressed like a child but I'm glad that cute little dresses and pinafores are acceptable to wear nowadays! I love the playfulness of them. I've worn this quite a few times recently and wanted to show you it, I also wanted to show you my make up done by the amazingly talented make up artists at Illamasqua! Let's discuss...

The Green Turtle Neck Jumper & Aspinal Bucket Bag
Hello hello! A fashion post from me today. I wanted to talk to you about this jumper specifically because it's one of those items I just cannot take off. It's so cosy and goes with absolutely everything. So many people have asked me where it's from! I'm pretty obsessed with comfortable jumpers because you can dress them up, or down and don't get me started on how much I love roll/turtle necks. I put this together as a kind of casual yet dressed up look and hope you love it as much as I do. Any excuse to take my new Aspinal bag out for a spin hey...

How To Get Back Into Exercise After Time Off or Over-Indulging (Christmas!!!); January Fitness Tips & Motivation
You may have had a week off, a month off or a year off, I know though that even after just two weeks off over Christmas, it feels like a lifetime and exercise was the last thing I wanted to do come Jan 1st but somehow, I dragged myself back into it and now I'm back onto the fitness hype like never before. It’s crazy really, I was so motivated once I was in my gym routine (right up until December 23rd) then the mince pies and champagne come out and I eased back into not going to the gym over Christmas. I was sat on my spinning bike earlier this week (happy to say I’m firmly back on the health and fitness bandwagon, smashing out 4 spinning classes last week to make up for all those mince pies) and decided I’d write up a post with my top tips to getting back to fitness after time off. I’m not an expert but these are the things that really help me personally so I hope they’ll help to inspire you, motivate you and mainly, get you back to feeling fit and healthy. Remember, it's okay to have time off.

Date Night! Dinner at Roast And Conch, Hotel Chocolat Restaurant Review
Dining out is one of my favourite things to do. I try to dine out at least once a week and even though I love finding new places, like most people, I have my favourites. Roast and Conch is one of my all time favourite restaurants which is why I keep going back. I've probably eaten here at least 8 times now and this certainly won't be my last time. Not only is Roast and Conch one of my favourite restaurants, but Hotel Chocolat is my favourite chocolate brand. It adds up then, that Roast and Conch is Hotel Chocolat's restaurant. If you've been reading EmTalks for a while, you'll know just how much I adore all things Hotel Chocolat but also, you'll know that I'm a lover of good food, obsessed with cocktails and also, into my fitness too (weird combo huh?). I know that chocolate and fitness don't really go together but Roast and Conch is designed around the bean, the richest tasting part of chocolate, so don't worry, even though this is sometimes described as a 'chocolate restaurant' you're actually just getting the best flavours rather than the nasty calories. Come join me for a date night...

The Lilac Dress!
Hello hello, another dress from me today (I feel like like such a poser on these photos, sorry!) I absolutely love this dress - I wore a similar one over the Summer which was basically the high-necked version of this (you may remember it from my Bahamas trip) but I love the cut out neck of this one though for more of a party look. Let's discuss (I also love the colour too!) even though New Year and party season are seemingly over, I like this dress because it's bright so the perfect way to brighten up January you could say!

My Birthday Weekend In London Part 2
We spent three days in London for my birthday, it was amazing to just 'be' in London and not work for once. Don't get me wrong, I love doing work related things in London but it's nice to stop and take London in rather than run around the city looking at Google Maps and frantically panicking about meetings etc. Let's see what me and Matt got up to on our final day/night in London! (You can read about my first night in London here).
