Top Beauty Products For Busy Women; Clinique Pep-Start Range Review

clinique hydroblur moisturiser
As someone who's always on the go, I'm forever looking for multi-tasking, easy to use but effective products. If you guys have been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that Clinique have always been one of my favourite brands. My Grandma adored the brand and almost brought me up on it. The first skincare brand I ever used was Clinique and I still use them to this day. I feel really excited to be doing a full review today of their Pep-Start range, as you guys know, I use Clinique's Pep-Start eye cream pretty much every day. My new favourite primer is also from this range so it was only natural that I wrote this post today. I'm going to show you how the Pep-Start range is the perfect companion for the busy person and girl on the go.

Hello! Today, a really really exciting post and something I've wanted to write for quite some time... how to wear red lipstick just about anywhere! Red lipsticks come in all shades and somedays I'm in the mood for a bright red, other days, a pink, more recently, I'm loving deep tones. Today I decided to show you a few different scenarios where you can wear the perfect red lip and hopefully, you can find the perfect red for you too! I think a red lipstick is something quite personal to you, once you find your red, it's yours for keeps!

Visiting Sri Lanka From The Maldives; Serene Pavilions Sri Lanka; A Trip To Sri Lanka On A Maldives Holiday;

backless white swimsuit
Sri Lanka was never really on my travel bucket list but I really like to visit as many places as possible on one trip, which is exactly why we decided to look for cool places to visit near to the Maldives. Our trip to the Maldives seems like forever ago now, even though it was only last month. It seems that Sri Lanka is the closest, good place to visit near to the Maldives. It took a few hours and then we were suddenly away from Maldivian paradise. Most people apparently go to Sri Lanka first for an action packed few days and then head to the Maldives to relax. We did it the other way around, relaxation in the Maldives and then onto Sri Lanka for some excitement. Join me in Sri Lanka!

These products will leave you feeling hydrated, glowing and feeling super soft this Autumn. Let's talk about the best pampering products this Autumn!

Brunch At Bourne And Hollingsworth with Sure Antibac & Dr Christian Jessen

pink shift dress boohoo
I'm not the kinda girl to turn down an epic breakfast opportunity, particularly when it's at one of my favourite places, with one of my favourite brands. Bourne and Hollingsworth in London is exactly the kinda place I like to brunch; peaceful, quirky and just serious interior goals, it's Pinterest and Instagram heaven. Couple that with one of my favourite brands (Sure), brilliant food and fabulous company and you'll have to force me to leave. On Tuesday morning, I was lucky enough to learn some top tips from Dr Christian Jessen himself as we giggled, ate and chatted all things Sure. Come join me for the morning.

How To Spend An Afternoon In London, Me Time In London With Starbucks Teavana

starbucks teavanaLife can be crazy and so busy that often, we (me included) forget to stop and take some ‘me time’. I’m all about ‘me time’ because it keeps me sane but actually, I’m not very good at doing nothing at all so instead, I took an afternoon to have some ‘me’ time but in more of an energised way. I grabbed one of the new Starbucks Teavana lattes (the mint and matcha one is absolutely delicious) and then ran some very nice errands and had more of an active ‘me day’ and wanted to take you along with me to see exactly what we got up to.

Finding The One: How To Find The Perfect Hair Dresser & The Importance Of Finding A Good Hair Dresser

how to fix damaged hair

So today I had a meeting and we ended up discussing how much we love our hairdressers and how fabulous we feel every single time we walk out of the salon door. Interestingly, I was told that women are more loyal to their hairdressers than their doctors (definitely true for me). I seem to naturally either love or hate a hair experience, there's never really any in-between. For me, getting my hair done is something I wish I could do every single day. If it was up to me, in an ideal world, I'd never wash my hair and instead would have three blow dries a week. That's how confident and fabulous I feel when I leave the salon. Obviously, finding 'the one' e.g., the dream, perfect hair dresser who knows whats best for you, wants you to look your absolute best at all times and wont go and chop it all off when that's the last thing you want, is very important. As my Mum has always said, a good hairdresser is worth paying for because your hair is seen every single day. I've done a lot of blog posts about my troubles with growing my hair, make sure you read my top hair growth tips, and also, I recently wrote about how my damaged hair ruined my confidence. I'm happy to say that every single time I visit my hairdresser, my confidence grows and finally, my hair is growing too after years of thinking it would never grow. Day by day I am impressed with not just my hair growth, but how strong my hair is getting too. Today, I wanted to give you a little hair update but also give you some top tips about finding the best hair dresser.

Top Handbag Essentials And Gucci Swing Bag Review

So today I wanted to give you a little update on my top handbag essentials. I am often called Mary Poppins because I cram so much stuff into my handbag (all necessary of course) so today, I wanted to show you what's made it into my daily handbag at the moment.  I'm also writing this post because a few people have asked for a review of the Gucci Swing Bag. I bought the Gucci Swing about two weeks ago and I'm head over heels in love. I feel so sad to have replaced my Burberry but this is now my kind of 'every day handbag'. I change what's in my bag every week really but I wanted to show you my handbag essentials at the moment. Let's go!

Learning To Love Fitness And Exercise

I say it all too often, "we need to learn to love fitness". I know I keep saying it on my fitness posts, but, it's true. I see so many people trying to find quick ways to lose weight, including starving themselves, doing crazy fad diets and trying to avoid doing exercise. Equally, the world of social media can be dangerous (read my post on the dangers of clean eating). I like to think I'm pretty balanced. It's my mantra. Exercise is hard work, exercise burns and tires you out but in a good way. We shouldn't hate on something that makes us feel fabulous. You never regret a workout and you feel great afterwards. I don't work out to lose weight, I work out because it makes me feel great, it boosts my confidence, boosts my mood and actually, means I don't have to feel guilty for enjoying my food either (not that you should ever feel guilty for enjoying food anyway but that's a whole different blog post). What's great to see is how many people are really embracing exercise nowadays, I definitely think social media helps with that. I'm forever seeing strong, fit women inspiring others to eat better and move more. That's what it's all about, moving more and eating better - not less. Today, I want to have another fitness ramble because you guys seem to like them! Let's go!

Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa Maldives

hideaway beach maldives
It was always going to be difficult leaving Kandolhu (you need to make sure you've read about this amazing Maldives hotel), but at least we knew we were about to embark on another taste of paradise. For our third and final stop in the Maldives, we stayed at Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa.  Just so you're up to date, first we stayed at Velassaru Maldives, then we headed to Kandolhu (both are fabulous in different ways, I'm going to write a Maldives round up post really soon featuring them all with pros and cons). Our third hotel, Hideaway was easily the furthest out from Male airport. It needed a further domestic flight to get there from Male and then a speed boat on top of that. We pretty much had the journey from hell to get there, so I was pretty relieved once we finally did arrive.

Shopping In Chester With Me!

When I was invited for a day out in the Liverpool/Chester area recently, I couldn't say no. England is pretty fabulous and there's so much of it I am yet to explore. Weirdly, I've never been shopping in this side of the UK so I jumped at the chance. I haven't had a day of shopping in so long so this was way over-due. Matt and I drove straight down to Coleseum Shopping Centre last Saturday to check out their shops and their Selfie Fashion event! As it's Friday, I want to invite you to come shopping with me on todays post.

Oh hey guys and girls, a different one from me today but something I'm super excited about! As you guys know, my blog covers a wide range of topics from fitness to fashion to beauty to lifestyle and I like it that way (I hope you guys do too!). I really like talking about a number of topics. I've decided to also weave in a few male topics into my new 'mens' section starting today which you'll find right here. It'll also always be at the top of my blog as a little category of it's own so if you fancy checking it out, that's where you'll find it. I want to work with my boyfriend, brother, granddad and any other every day willing men, to find out what scents they're loving, what beauty essentials they can't live without and more and then, share it with you guys! I'll also be talking about my favourite male things too! This isn't just for men to read, but it's going to be an area where you can get ideas on what to buy the man in your life and also, maybe sneak a few new beauty essentials into his bag too! Obviously for the guys out there, hopefully it'll give you some inspo! I totally influence my boyfriends wash bag but today, I made him choose exactly the things he loves and uses every day for post number one! I quizzed him on his essentials, here we go! Key Autumn Wardrobe Staples; How To Style Knee High Boots From Day To Night

uk fashion blogger

Apparently, a woman is on her feet for over four hours in a typical day, obviously, dependent on your job and as much as I love rushing around and being on my feet, we all know just how tiring it can get. It can be particularly tiring with the wrong footwear which is why comfortable boots are so important, particularly now it's October, yup, October is here meaning Autumn is here! One of my favourite things about Autumn time is Autumn wardrobe shopping, who doesn't love chunky knits, knee high boots and cosy scarves? October calls for all the knits, roll necks and cosy but chic black boots. I love knee high boots because they're great to take you from day to night, that's why I decided to write this post and show you how to style up those famous knee highs from day to night as my first Autumn style post. It was only the other day I tweeted to say just how under-rated Marks and Spencer's clothes are, it was good to see that crazy amounts of you agreed with me. It's safe to say, some of the items featured on this post, were the items I was discussing: pure quality, comfortable, beautiful items and I cannot wait to share them with you. I haven't taken these items off! I'm so excited today to be discussing some key wardrobe essentials for the months ahead, these pieces (hand selected by yours truly) are versatile pieces perfect for the up and coming months and I just hope you'll love them as much as I do.

Move More, Eat Better

I love any excuse to write a fitness and health post. Todays topic? Mixing things up so you don't lose motivation as we get into Winter. If you've been reading Emtalks for a while, you'll know I'm all about health and fitness, I'm obsessed with green juice, clean eating and working out but, I'm all about balance, so yes I'll have a green juice and spin four times a week but, I'll also never turn down pizza. Someone asked me recently: Do I work out more so I can eat pizza? Or, would I go away to Italy and turn down pizza so I stay in shape? I guess they were right, I work out really hard so I can maintain my weight and enjoy life (and food), life is not about being deprived. The way I see it, if I move more, and eat well 80% of the time, I wont feel guilty when I do enjoy 'naughty' food the rest of the time. If you read my recent health overhaul post, you'll know that I have been massively mixing things up recently with both my diet and my workouts, so today, I wanted to talk to you more about that I guess too. As I've said, yes Summer may technically be over (in the UK anyway) but getting fit and healthy is a lifestyle choice, it definitely isn't seasonal! If you're feeling unmotivated now the hot weather and bikini motivation has gone, hopefully this should get you back in the zone.
