Hello hello, let's talk fashion! When I was approached by the exciting new app Piccing this month and asked to choose my favourite trend to work on with them, I was pretty excited. I naturally chose the all white trend, any excuse to show you some of my favourite all white outfits before Summer is over (and talk to you about a new cool app too). Let's pretend Summer is still here (even if it is currently raining as I type this). Let's go...

July Beauty Favourites!
Ah hello hello! How is July over already? Now that, is, crazy and kind of scary. I'm pretty sure Summer hasn't even started yet?! You may have already seen my favourites video, but I wanted to also do a post to go along with it (plus there are some extra special hidden gems in here which didn't feature in the video!). I feel like I haven't done a favourites post for quite some time but there are a few things which have really stood out to me, not even just this moth but over the past few months so I wanted to talk to you about these amazing bits today! I love doing round ups at the end of the month and this may be my favourite yet. I feel like I haven't written about beauty enough recently so it always feels nice to ramble about some favourite products!

Lady Betty Afternoon Tea at Betty's Tea Rooms, Harrogate
I am local to Harrogate, it's 15 minutes down the road from my house and I spend most weekends there when I am in the UK. I always feel so lucky that I can actually call Harrogate (and beautiful North Yorkshire) home. I know I like to travel, but my heart will always be in beautiful North Yorkshire (sometimes you have to go away so that you can come back and really appreciate home). If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that the famous Betty's tea rooms is one of my favourite places, ever. I feel so lucky that I have three Betty's so close to my home, two in York and Harrogate. When I was invited to try out their new Lady Betty Afternoon Tea, I jumped at the chance... come sit with me whilst we indulge in some delicious, handcrafted treats from Yorkshire's finest tearooms. There's a reason people travel far and wide to come and sample Betty's...

Doll White Teeth Whitening Strips Review

Today we're talking about teeth whitening! I am all for trying new teeth whitening products because who doesn't want nice white teeth? I actually haven't done a teeth whitening review in quite some time. The last teeth whitening review I did went down incredibly well though so I thought I'd do another today. I am such a lover of white teeth and I am always on the lookout for new whitening products that actually work. I love it when my teeth feel bright and white. I was naturally very excited then when I was introduced to Doll White, a teeth whitener which I personally thinks rivals the famous US Crest strips. Let's talk...

Exploring St Martin's Courtyard; Mum & Daughter Day in London!

A few weeks ago myself and my Mum decided to head to London for a girlie day. It's not often that I actually go to London for pleasure so it's safe to say I was really looking forward to a little bit of down time. I'm pretty sure I never have down time. We were invited to St Martin's Courtyard to look around, relax and enjoy the day, here's what we got up to!

Healthy Sweet Potato Superfood Brownies Recipe; Deliciously Ella
Ad affiliate -
Hello hello, you found my oldest recipe ever!
I am very very excited to share my new fave healthy yet delicious treat with you - it would be rude not to share this recipe to be honest! This is a really quick and easy but stupidly delicious recipe - if you love chocolate and brownies then hello, take note! I can't actually believe this is good for you. I haven't stopped eating these (it's dangerous because I eat a full batch at a time because they taste so good) but the good thing is, these are healthy brownies so feel free to eat a full batch haha! I tweeted (@emshelx) to say that I'd made these and lots of you asked for the recipe so here we go... (this recipe is another inspired from the Deliciously Ella book by the way but you can adapt it to your liking!)

60's Style!
Ah I feel like I haven't done an outfit post for quite some time but I am back today with a little Summer special! I was challenged by New Look to put together a 60's look, naturally I put my own little twist on it though! I absolutely fell in love with the pieces I chose (they were so affordable too). As much as I adore Burberry, ASOS, Topshop, I was talking to my friends the other day and we were saying it's really good to be able to mix up more affordable pieces with high end pieces for a final look. I hope you love these 60's inspired boho looks as much as I do!

Top Beauty Products For An All Over Glow; My Favourite Summer Glow Products
Hello hello! Oh I do love a beauty round up and I am far too excited to be writing this one today. If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know that I am all about feeling naturally bronzed, radiant and generally glowing - I don't just mean my body but my face too. I just feel more confident when I'm all smooth, glowy and radiant. I blame Kim Kardashian. Don't judge me but she seriously has her glow/make up on point. I've been using loads of products recently to get nice glowing legs and a nice highlighted complexion and I feel bad for not sharing them with you so here I am today making up for that. I've featured some of these items here and there and tweeted about a few of them too but I wanted to do a proper round up of my favourite things to get an all over glow. Let's go!

Beauty Taboos, Confidence, Fixodent, Saving Aslan; Let's Talk!
Hello! So today is a bit of a different one from me but I was excited to be asked to work with Fixodent recently on this campaign purely because it allowed me to discuss a few beauty taboos with you and also it gave me another chance to talk to you about confidence. I am a big believer in not letting anything stop you from achieving, working hard, living life to the fullest and just being happy really which is basically the key to life; happiness! I know that a lot of things really can affect our confidence so today I'm going to discuss this with you a lil bit because everyone deserves to feel confident and happy.

Dressed For An Occasion; Occasion wear
Hello hello! So earlier this week I got fresh new hair and fresh new eyebrows - hooray naturally that calls for a photoshoot. I always feel like a new woman when I walk out of Sassoon Salons. There are so many graduations/proms/end of year things/leavers balls at the moment and everyone seems to be looking for things to wear so I thought I'd do a little occasion wear post. I hope you like this navy ensemble as much as I do and ah, my new bag!!!

Identity Theft; Fraud In The Blogging Community

Hello hello! Today I wanted to do a really quick little post just to bring something to your attention, this isn't something I ever thought I'd be writing or something I ever wanted to write - in fact, naive little me didn't even really know this was possible but I would really appreciate it if you could share this post to help others because this should not be happening. As most of you will know if you follow EmTalks, I have been writing this blog for 3 years, it is my baby, my biggest passion and it truly is my life. I pride myself on working hard and being honest. Naturally then when I got two emails this week from brands saying someone was pretending to be me in order to get money/free samples, I freaked out... not cool, not cool at all... let's discuss in the hopes that it will help people and prevent this from happening.

London Bridge Strolls; Outfit Of The Day
I recently had a spare few hours in London (when does that ever happen?! Never!) so I met up with the incredible photographer Oscar May for a little stroll around London and obviously, we took some photos along the way (of course we did). If you read my Topshop Personal Shopping experience post you'll have already had a little look at some of these items, but, I've wanted to share this outfit with you for quite some time as I haven't taken these wardrobe staples off! Nothing beats versatile wardrobe staples, you can dress these pieces up and down and that's why I love them so much. Let's have a quick look around London and I'll show you some of my fave new wardrobe pieces whilst we're at it! Grab your sunglasses...

Moving Out Of Your Comfort Zone, Facing Your Fears, Moving Countries, Flying Alone Tips!
Hello! I've actually wanted to discuss this for quite some time and I was inspired when an exciting anti-stress parcel from Sure Maximum Protection arrived in the post for me the other day. This post is basically me, rambling about fear, comfort zones and life I guess. It's about confidence, flying alone and just going for it really. Two years ago, I'd barely left Europe, I even went to University in a city close to home. I've always loved home for various reasons and also wanted to remain close to my family. Home is good, home really is where the heart is but in the past 2 years, I've managed to travel a lot of the world - granted not all by myself but, this year so far, I've been on over 30 planes and I'd say at least 25% of the flights I do nowadays are by myself. That might not sound like a lot of planes to you but what I'm getting at here is if I can face my biggest fears (leaving my loved ones behind and flying alone to foreign countries), you can too! Today is a personal post about how little old me, the girl who at one point in life, didn't even have the confidence to walk across the corridor in front of people at school, let alone eat in front of anyone, the girl who used to Google 'how can I be confident' just decided to make a decision and go for it. This can relate to anything, not just flying. I hope you'll like this post and it may help at least one person.

The Dress Lust List
When organising my wardrobe the other day, I realised I have far too many dresses and playsuits. Instead of stopping my addiction there, I've decided to continue it. I've been scouring my favourite sites this week for my favourite dresses and playsuits and this is the result. I thought I'd give you a little Summer inspo with my dress and playsuit wishlist! Hope you like these pieces!
