New York High Line, Brooklyn Bridge & Chelsea Market!

new york highline

Whilst in New York we decided to check out the New York High Line. The High Line is 1.45-mile-long and it's a city park built on a section of a disused New York railroad/tracks. It's such a cool, creative concept and spending my morning walking along it was the loveliest start to my day. Come join me for another action packed day in New York city...

Benefit The Porefessional Primer Review

benefit the porefessional primer

Hello! So I don't know why I've only just got round to reviewing this primer now - it's long been one of my favourite primers and I've been meaning to review it for more than a year, but better late than never ey? I feel like so many people talk about this product but I've never read any full-blown reviews so I thought I'd do one today. It actually took me quite some time to fall in love with this primer, it was a product that I had to persevere with but when I had to go without it for a few weeks, I realised just how flawless it made my make up look and I really missed using it. Let's talk about Benefit's best selling primer (it's a best seller for a reason!)...

A Day In Central Park; Fall In New York.

central park in fall

I can see why people talk about 'fall' (Autumn) so much in America/Canada, it's absolutely stunning.  The leaves, the houses, the decor, fall is so much more than just a season here, they really embrace everything about it. Whilst in New York, I obviously had to spend some time in Central Park, it's something I've dreamt of doing for as long as I can remember. I feel like we chose the perfect day, the sun was shining, there was a slight chill in the air, the park wasn't too busy and the leaves looked truly stunning. Come and cycle through Central Park with me and I'll show you around...

How To Spend A Weekend In New York; The Statue Of Liberty, Amazing Views, Sunsets & Times Square!

statue of liberty new york
Recently I decided to fly to New York. It's one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I've always wanted to visit New York and I'm really not sure why I haven't been before. I certainly know I'll be going back, more than once. I'm ready to book another trip already. This is the first of my New York posts and I cannot wait to share this crazy adventure with you. I can't wait to show you how I spent my weekend in New York. Let's just say, it's so much more than a 'concrete jungle' and you could honestly spend years there and still not do even half of what New York has to offer...

Top Winter Beauty Products

the best winter beauty products

Ah Winter, how quickly you approach. I'm in Canada at the moment (still here) and it's getting really cold. I never really change my skincare too much in Winter but this year I am going to do just that because everyone knows that cold weather isn't too kind to the skin and I can already feel my face drying up (nice). The weather here is very up and down, one minute it's sunny and the next minute it's chilly - my skin isn't enjoying this at all.  I often stop and think about just how much Winter dehydrates the skin, not to mention the fact that the sun is lower which means more harmful UV rays. So here are a few skin saviours to keep you looking plump, hydrated and bright this Winter! I will not let the weather defeat my skin and I'll be back in chilly England very soon which should feel warm in comparison to Canada!

October Wishlist!

October is here! Hooray! I haven’t done a wishlist post for ages and we all know how much I love writing wish/lust lists! I have this bad habit of always publishing them towards the end of the month though so I do apologise for that. I think this is probably my favourite lust-list yet because I’ve had quite some time to compile it and really look around… dun dun dun… bank cards at the ready…

Kyozon Launch Party

It's time for another travel post! Recently I was invited to the launch of a new restaurant in Montreal, the foodie in me could hardly say no so I put on my favourite new playsuit and trotted off to Crescent street. It really doesn't matter where in the world you're based because I feel like you're going to like this one... who doesn't enjoy photos of food and champagne, oh and I need to show you my favourite new playsuit. I invite you to join me on a girls night filled with fabulous treats...

Top Beauty Tips From Grandma!

grandma beauty tips

When I met up with two of my friends recently (Ashley James & Scarlett London) we were discussing how amazing Grandparents are - they're so wise and we can learn so much from them. There and then I decided that I would ask my Grandma what her fool-proof beauty tips are, after all, if anyone knows anything about beauty it would be our Grandmas, they've been around for a long enough time to try and test everything. I know my Grandma is a huge Clinique fan so I was interested to learn more...

The Fluffy Two-Piece; Outfit Of The Day

missguided fluffy co-ord
I don't care what anyone says, cold weather does not mean we have to stop wearing two-pieces. I love co-ords, my wardrobe is full of them and I don't plan on stopping my collection anytime soon. This beautiful fluffy co-ord (which you've probably seen everyone wearing on Instagram) is no exception and truly is the perfect Winter two-piece because it's so warm. Let's talk fluffy co-ords!

A Weekend In Toronto

toronto skyline
The time finally came for me to visit Toronto recently. One 4 hour train later and boom, I felt like I was in a larger, Canadian version of London. I was so excited to finally arrive in a big city but also, an English speaking big city - I absolutely adore other cultures and languages but it can be quite difficult sometimes in Montreal because absolutely everything is in French. I like Montreal, but I think I prefer Toronto. Montreal is small, happy and pretty but Toronto feels as if it's the land of opportunity and anything is possible. I'm excited to share my weekend in Toronto with you... (and don't worry, this certainly isn't my last weekend in this amazing city).

The Best Beauty Products From The Body Shop

the best products from the body shop

If you follow me on Twitter or read my blog regularly you'll know that The Body Shop is one of my favourite brands. I love The Body Shop because everything is natural, they have amazing morals and ethics, they help out so many charities and communities but also, the obvious, their products are amazing. It's you don't often see multi-taking brands who make good make up, skincare, body care and hair care products but The Body Shop manage to do that. I was recently sent a box brimming with their best selling products and I wanted to share them with you as some of them are my favourites too!

Top Nude Nail Varnishes, The Best Nude Colours

the best nude nail varnish

Hello! So today I wanted to talk about my favourite nail colour. Ever since Kendall Jenner posted a photograph of her fabulously nude nails on Instagram I knew that I had to get myself some nude nails. The only problem is, there are so many different shades of nude, it's impossible to find the right one first time. I now have a collection of 9 nude nail varnishes (that's nothing compared to my other nail varnishes but that's another story for another day!) and I wanted to show you them so that you can find your dream nude too. I think nude is such a perfect, easy to wear colour for all seasons, it goes with any outfit and it doesn't look too bad when it chips either. The other issue with nude is whether you're wanting a yellowy nude, a grey nude, a dark nude or a pink nude. Let's see if you fall in love with any of these nudes...

1 Month Exploring Canada!

la parc fontaine Montreal

Hello! So this week marks one month in Canada - how crazy?! It feels like only yesterday I was crying my eyes out in Manchester airport, teddy in one hand, multiple suitcases by my side and me breaking down as I had to say 'see you soon' to my Mum. The best part? I did it and I'm so glad I took the plunge. I faced one of my biggest fears; the fear of the un-known and entered this new culture and country. I wanted to share my first month with you...

Five Guys Burgers And Fries Review

Five Guys review
We've all heard of Five Guys right? If not, where have you been? Don't worry though, I'm here to help and I only had my first ever Five Guys a week or so ago. Naturally I had to share the experience with you. I've been excited to tell you about it ever since. A mere 500m from my apartment in Canada, there are two Five Guys. Two. Help me. In England? People barely talk about it. People in Canada actually laugh when they see how excited I get over Five Guys but I wanted to talk to you about the best burger I've ever eaten...
