Back To School Style With ASOS

asos textured swing dres
When I was challenged by ASOS to put together a few back to school outfits, I could hardly resist. I'm really excited to share my first outfit with you and I hope you love it as much as I do. It's simple, affordable, easy to wear and transitional (woohoo!), let's check this out...
McGill University

I thought I'd shoot these looks on my local campus, as most of you know, I am currently in Canada doing some blogging here so I thought I'd use McGill campus, one of the most prestigious Universities in the world (or schools as they call it here) as my background.

McGill University fashionThis adorable little black dress is only £25.00, absolute bargain. It's textured and I love the thickness of it, it's quite cool whilst still keeping me comfy and wrapped up in Winter.

McGill University fall
'Fall' or Autumn is really coming around quickly, the campus look so beautiful at the moment.

The Canadian flag swings proudly in the centre of campus.

After school drinks or dinner date? No problem, I put my favourite leather jacket over the top in order to transform what would have been just an easy, day-friendly black outfit. I think this takes the look from day to night really easily. You may have seen me post a photograph of this jacket on my Instagram (emshelx) - I love the colour so much. The jacket is available online here from ASOS and again, I think the price-point is really good (around £60).

It was soon time to leave the campus and head out into Montreal for a much needed cocktail or three.

I really do love this outfit, the dress is so perfect, it hangs beautifully (you may remember it from my date weekend in Canada post!) and I felt like such a little girl in my shoes - it brought back my childhood and I just felt so super girlie.

Do you like 'back to school style?' Do you like this outfit?

Lots of love, Em x
