Hello! So I thought it was time to do a June favourites post, June has been the most hectic month for me and I'm quite glad that it's over actually! I can't wait for July to start (I go to Jamaica on Wednesday and then I've got an exciting trip to Paris and Italy lined up amongst other things!). I couldn't concentrate on my blog as much as I wanted to throughout June due to my placement and whilst I learnt so much, I am so excited to spend all my time on my blog now! Thanks for putting up with me! Now let's talk about the best things about this month!...

What's In My June Make Up Bag
I am so excited to write about what's in my make up bag this month because I truly do think that I've finally found some staple items which will remain in my make up bag for quite some time now. Quite a few of the items in this months make up bag were also in last months make up bag, so I really must love them! I love writing these kind of posts and I love switching up the bits in my make up bag but truly, I am in love with everything in my bag this month. Let's discuss these beautiful items...

A Summer's Weekend: Golf, Picnics & Boating
Hello! I feel like I haven't had much time to go out, eat, play dress up or anything really recently due to my compulsory placement at University. I've been working 12 hour days unpaid for the experience and whilst it's brilliant (I've learnt so much about the TV industry), I really do feel like I'm missing out on quite a lot of my Summer (I go to Canada in 2 months, woah!). Things feel better this week though because my boyfriend surprised me at the weekend and came to visit me, we had a few relaxed days together and naturally I took my camera out with me so that I could share a bit of the fun with you. I love writing lifestyle posts so much so here's one for you... warning, you might get hungry...

June Wishlist
Hello, so I don’t know why this wishlist has come so late in June (sorry!) but to be honest, I haven’t had much time to go shopping so I didn’t have my eye on anything at the start of June (I’ve desperately been trying to save up for my Canadian/American travels) but as the month has moved on, as usual, I’m left with a list of beautiful things that I’m wishing for and lusting over this month… I do apologise that it’s quite fashion heavy, it’s just because I’m in holiday mode and I’m trying to decide what clothes to buy for my trip to Jamaica in July!

The Best French Pharmacy Beauty Products
Hello! So I decided to do a round up of my favourite French beauty products because this month, Escentual has 1/3 off lots of favourite French pharmacy brands. They've topped up my supplies and kindly sent me a few bits to try but also, I thought I'd gather up all my other favourite French products so that I can share them with you. I remember doing a lot of research online before my first trip to Paris, I really wanted to figure out what to buy whilst out there so hopefully this might help some of you find some exciting new products! Once upon a time, you had to actually go to France to buy French beauty products, I'm still not sure how I feel about them now being readily available in Boots and online, I kind of liked needing an excuse to shop around Paris for all my favourite pieces but it's great for those of us (me included) who can't always get to France. Let's talk French beauty!...

The Yellow Maxi Dress

Hello! I did quite a few outfit posts when I was in Greece because the background was really pretty and I wanted to show you some of my new clothes, so here's another one for you! I've always been a huge lover of maxi dresses, even though I'm just 5ft3, I'm very much team maxi, no matter what height you are, I think maxis look great, they're so easy to wear. I absolutely love simple, pretty outfits and I also love anything yellow, I hope you love this dress as much as I do...

How To Get The Perfect Holiday Body: Holiday Body Preparations
Hello! So today I thought I'd write a pre-holiday preparation post. I recently went to Greece and my tan didn't stay very long (*cries*) because I didn't really do much before hand, I didn't even exfoliate which meant that I peeled much quicker, I do still have my tan but it's not as intense as it was. I'm going away again in July and I wanted to show you the products that I have been using and will keep using in the month run up to my holiday in order to get my body beach and sunshine ready. Everyone wants to step out on the beach on day one and feel genuinely happy in their skin and hopefully, doing some of these things a month/a few weeks before you get onto that beach should help. If you're wanting smooth, soft, silky, glowing skin, ready to be hit by the sunshine then you're in the right place...

Harrogate and Afternoon Tea
Hello, so a little lifestyle post from me today because lots of you have said that you've been enjoying my personal/lifestyle posts (thank you!). I go to Harrogate most weekends, it's extremely close to my house so I thought I'd take my camera with me and show you around. We stopped off at the famous Betty's for some afternoon tea and obviously, had a walk around the gardens. It was glorious sunshine and a perfect day to just relax. Let's get walking...

Let's Get Shirty: How To Style A Shirt
Hello! So whilst on holiday I managed to shoot a few outfit posts in nicer scenery than rainy England so I thought I'd share them with you as I really enjoy doing a few fashion posts a month. I love beauty, it's my favourite, but I also love fashion of course, I used to be a stylist at my part time job and I've never really written a 'styling' post so this is my first. I decided to style up this gorgeous shirt from Hawes and Curtis and show everyone that a shirt doesn't just have to be a formal thing. I recently fell in love with a casual shirt from Topshop and since then, I've been on the look out for some more nice every-day shirts. I've always been a fan of floaty blouses but I've never really worn an actual, real shirt on a day to day basis. I absolutely adore this shirt and I cannot wait to share it with you...

The Body Shop Honey Bronze Collection: Get A Summer Glow
I feel like I haven’t discussed anything in
the beauty world for quite a few days and that hurts. Do not fear though because I have lots of exciting beauty bits and bobs coming up. I love beauty, it’s my
passion, I get so giddy and girlie about it so how could I not write about this
collection?! If you know me, you’ll know that I love highlighter, anything that
smells of honey (my favourite scent ever, in Lush I literally gravitate towards anything that's honey scented), anything that’s golden and tanned and a favourite brand of mine
is The Body Shop. So it seems like this is the perfect collection for me. When
this arrived at my door I actually squealed, I was in honey heaven. A natural-looking
glow is the look that I’m always trying to achieve, I love having dewy,
illuminated, Kim-Kardashian inspired skin. If you like that too, then these are
the products for you. I am so excited to share these new releases with you.

Top University Tips; A Life Changing Decision
Hello, so something a little bit different from me today. I know that lots of people will be starting University in September and I just kind of wanted to talk about my University experience, the things I'd have done differently, how I feel about it all and maybe offer some advice too so that you don't make the same mistakes I did!

A Trip To Greece!
On my recent bucket list post I explained that I wanted to travel lots this Summer so when the opportunity arose for me to hop on a plane to Greece, very last minute, I could hardly say no. This Summer is an odd one, I finished my second year of University mid-May but I have to do a compulsory placement throughout June which leaves me with not much time to get done what I want to get done this Summer (blog blog blog!), the end of May was the only time I could slip in a trip away before I become a full time worker (cries) so to Greece I went...

My Summer Bucket List!
I've always wanted to write a bucket list, I just haven't really known where/when or what to write. I decided recently that because I like to add a few lifestyle posts a month to my blog, that June is probably the most appropriate month to share my Summer bucket list with you, after all, it is nearly Summer isn't it? For me, Summer starts as soon as June ends. I have an unfortunately busy and boring month in June because of University commitments but once that's done, the world is my oyster (until September anyway). So let's get started and get excited for the months ahead...
