Easy, Healthy Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe - Dairy Free Vegan Ice Cream Recipe

Ad affiliate -

I love Spring for so many reasons, cliche blogger blossom trees (no but seriously, they're beautiful), daffodils and tulips, new season’s fashion, lighter nights...I could go on. It's the little things. Another thing I love is when I see the sunshine because I know it’s time for ice cream.  I'm sure you know I'm all about balance, in everything I do and whilst I don't mind having sugar here and there, I'm always looking for refined sugar-free alternatives so I can snack away because I want my sugar to be in my Red Velvet cake or my Dairy Milk thanks very much. Hopefully, you've seen my healthy cookie recipe and my healthy pancakes recipe but what about healthy ice cream? Real dairy ice cream is yummy and I will always treat myself in moderation (I see you Ben and Jerrys, I love you) but as a staple through the week to satisfy my craving for this wonderful food I make my own. I also know so many people can't have dairy so this is a great alternative if you're craving some creamy ice cream. It’s as simple and healthy as making a smoothie and means you get to eat all your fruit in the form of a yummy ‘ice cream’ sundae. Trust me, this is probably the easiest recipe you will ever make...

Top Social Media, Brand Building And Influencer Tips: 12 Things I Learnt At The Reward Style Blogging Conference

I'm currently sat in a Scandi themed apartment in Dallas, feeling incredibly inspired. Life can be negative and I do find we live in a world full of people who would rather pull us down than lift us up. This weekend was different though. This weekend I spent three days at a ‘blogging boot camp’ let’s call it, with some global leaders in the world of influencer marketing, blogging and more. I wandered around a hotel where women empowered each other every single day rather than ripping each other to shreds. It's something I'd like to see more of and sadly, isn't something I'm used to. I sat in talks with some of the top global full-time bloggers and Instagrammers, as well as savvy business owners. I got all the top tips from industry experts and insiders and my brain is bursting with ideas and positivity. If you follow me on instagram @emshelx you’ll have probably seen some behind the scenes from my weekend at RSTheCon and I also tweeted out (@emshelx) some top tips I learnt. I'm fortunate to receive many emails on a weekly basis from people asking for blogging tips and tricks, because of this, I wrote a huge blog post with my top how to be a blogger / social media influencer tips. I thought it would be a good idea to write down 12 of the most important things I've taken away from the Reward Style blogging conference in the hopes that it helps you, if you are either a business owner, a freelancer or someone who wants to be a blogger/influencer or even if you just work in social media. I'm using the word influencer in this article but I know some prefer content creator, blogger, etc. But for ease, stick with me haha. A lot of this isn't just influencer specific, you can really take these tips on board for all lines of work. Disclaimer: this isn't me saying there is a wrong or a right way to run a business/build your brand/be a blogger/influencer but you may be able to take something incredible away from it, like I did. Get cosy, get your notepad out, it's time to get inspired. Here are 12 things I learnt from the Like To Know It influencer conference.

An Interview With My Mum

yellow afternoon teaI was super excited when Twinings asked me to partner with them on their #HereForYou campaign and to celebrate three different heroes in my life. It got me thinking, have you ever heard the phrase 'your smile could make someone’s day'? Well, it's something that's always stuck with me. Whether it's smiling at the bus driver, smiling at the man handing you a flyer or smiling and saying hello to the elderly man down the street. A little bit of kindness and love goes a long way. You never know what someone is going through. Just like a smile can go a long way, supporting someone can go a long way too. There are so many ways you can be there for someone, whether it's by physically standing by their side, or, even if you can't physically be there, dropping someone a text, liking their photo. It can make all the difference to a bad day, knowing that you have someone who is always there for you. We tend to focus on the negatives but our lives are so busy and often the good eggs and supportive people only get a fraction of the recognition they truly deserve. I always try and remember to say thank you to the people who are here for me (whether it's with a big old smile, saying thanks or sometimes even a gift) so that they know how much I value them. I was super excited when Twinings asked me to partner with them to celebrate three different heroes in my life. Last time I caught up with my nana who I someone who always makes me glow. The second of which is my Mum.

The Best Skincare + Beauty Products for Travel + Holidays

The Best Skincare + Beauty Products for Travel + Holidays
Hello hello! I’ve done so many blog posts about in-flight skincare but what about when you arrive at your destination? In an ideal world, I’d take my whole bathroom with me (hello Em the skincare lover) but that’s just not what I can do. I have to hold my hands up and say, I’m not a hand luggage kinda girl. I really try to use minis wherever I can but when the option is available and I can take a suitcase, I’ll jump at the chance. I’m writing this on a plane, my skin is feeling epic after a La Mer facial at World Duty Free and it got me thinking about epic hydrating and post-flight products to pack in your case. Let’s chat and see what’s new in the world of hydrating beauty products.

So, today I thought I'd write down my top tips for what to wear as a wedding guest this season. If you're struggling for what to wear as a wedding guest, this post is for you. Life Tips From My Grandma

Hello hello! Today, it's an exciting one. I've partnered with Twinings this year to catch up with three of my nearest and dearest over a cup of tea and chat to them about how they are here for me. Let's be honest, nothing is better than some time with your nearest and dearest and a cup of tea just makes that even better. My Nanna has always been the queen of beauty and the advice she gives has always been the best, not only with beauty. It was only right then that I conducted the first of my chats with my Nanna over a cup of Twinings Glow tea about confidence, beauty and glowing from the inside and out. Come and meet the lady I blame for my love of beauty, my Nanna.

Easter Guilt? Diet Culture - My Healthy Living Tips

Happy Easter and happy start of April! Whether you read this post on Easter Sunday or in the weeks afterward, it's still very relevant. I've been pretty alarmed this week to see so many articles about how many calories are in Easter eggs, how many burpees it takes to burn your Easter egg off (yeh, seriously) and oh just how damaging that Creme Egg is for you... I'd love to say I'm shocked but I'm not, these are typical scare/clickbait tactics from damaging news corps and it has to stop. It's damaging. It's dangerous and we already live in a world where we are anxious over health and many of us, have bad confidence days. Let's be honest, it isn't going to stop because people seem to get a kick when it comes to preying on the vulnerable and making people feel guilty for enjoying their lives. Today I'm gonna give my thoughts on this so let's talk about Easter guilt and why we need to banish it. Let's look at my healthy living tips to live by too.
