Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Omega-Rich Cloud Cream Review

Ad affiliate / pr throughout - pyjamas

I was first introduced to Kiehl's many years ago {according to the first blog post I did about the brand, I've been using their products for over 10 years now} and one of the first products I fell in love with was a bottle of Midnight Recovery Oil. It’s true to say I’ve been hooked on Kiehl's ever since and I regularly use their products including hair and skin care products {you can read my blog post about the best Kiehl’s products to buy if you missed that}. Kiehl’s have some absolutely epic super hydrating face creams and hand creams (which my mum really likes as her hands suffer dreadfully from cracked skin particularly in winter and truly, Kiehl’s and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream are the only two products strong enough her fix her hands). I am also a huge advocate of Kiehl’s shampoos, conditioners and hair care range. However if I have to say what single product from Kiehls I swear by, it is Midnight Recovery Oil. It has helped hydrate my skin more than I can tell you and makes my skin look fresh even after little sleep, it almost cheats the glow of a good 8 hours sleep and the botanical scent makes me so sleepy too.

Given my love of the Kiehl’s brand, I was super excited to try the new Kiehl’s Omega-Rich Cloud Cream. Open up for a full review of the brand new  Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Omega-Rich Cloud Cream.

I'm from Yorkshire {if you didn't already know}, so I've had my fair share of epic Sunday roasts and spent so long believing you couldn't get a good one outside of Yorkshire: I was wrong. One of my most asked questions is 'where can I get a good Sunday roast in London'. Now, I haven't tried them all, but I've tried a fair few so thought I would talk to you about my favourite, top spots for a roast in London. Bookmark this as I'll add to it when I try more Sunday roast spots in London!

Saint Laurent Toy LouLou bag review - YSL Toy LouLou Is It Worth The Money?

Ad affiliate throughout - Shop the outfit

When Christmas / my birthday comes around I like to treat myself to a new designer piece, it's just something I've started saving for and I enjoy doing it to round off the year. Unlike many people, I'm not one of those handbag collectors who keeps their bags on shelves in dust bags and never uses them. I wish I was because I know how good designer handbags can be when it comes to investments but I'm not the best of taking care of things. I buy bags because I want to use them and wear them into the ground - sensible or not, I get a lot of love and use out of my bags. Just look at my Gucci Marmont bag, I loved her so much and we had a few great years together but now she's retired. I very quickly learnt not to buy a velvet bag, ever again. Skip forward to Christmas 2021 and I got the Saint Laurent Toy LouLou bag. I was looking for a gorgeous designer bag for under £1500 and I cannot wait to review the Toy LouLou bag today for you and tell you if I think it's worth the money or not.

Mothers Day Gift Ideas - Mothers Day Gift Guide

Ad affiliate throughout -

Mother’s Day and Mothering Sunday both have slightly different origins but essentially in our modern world they simply represent a day in which we can truly show our Mum or mother figure how much they're valued and appreciated. In the UK, Mother's Day is March 27th 2022. After what we have all been through in the past 2 years, with many of us not being able to see our loved ones on Mother’s Day and with what is happening in the world right now I really don’t think there has been a more appropriate time to stop and thank them for all they do and show them how loved they are. I would also at this point like to stop a moment and think about those people who have either lost their mum or who had a difficult relationship with their mum.

When we were little my mum used to say to my brother and I that she didn’t need anything buying for Mother’s because all she needed was my brother and I and that meant she had everything she ever needed. That always reminds me of how selfless she and so many other mums are.  That very statement in itself means that for a single day each year she deserves spoiling.  Good parents often do so much tirelessly all year round and without expecting anything back and it is lovely certainly for me to have a day in which I can spoil her.

One thing I must stress about treating anyone to anything that is material – budget is a very private thing and treating someone does not have to break the bank, the best gift could just be the gift of your time.  Equally if you want to go for the grand gestures then that’s your preogative – the main thing is to do something that really warms you mum’s heart and brings obvious joy to her face – that could even mean just being present and spending time with her.  I’ve put a few ideas of gifts together below based on things I know my mum likes. In this Mothers Day gift guide I’ve included something for all budgets and from a range of brands and retailers small, medium and large. I hope my Mother's Day gift guide gives you some inspiration!

If you read my recent review of the Jo Malone Roses for Valentine's Day collection, you'll probably know I am a Jo Malone superfan. Everything about the brand makes me excited; if I need to feel calm - they have a scent for that; if I am going to a special occasion - they have a scent for that. If I want to relive a memory; their scents allow me to do that. My home is covered in Jo Malone, not only do they smell incredible but they look incredible too. The new Sardinian Summer range is no exception, with the most stunning bottles and stunning scents. Sit down because it's time to take a look at the brand new Jo Malone Blossoms collection. This would also make the most perfect Mother's Day gift.
