Instagram Removing Likes From Images

My Instagram @emshelx / feed edited using Ems Presets Instagram filters /

Hey guys, hope you’re all so well. Todays blog post is a hot topic right now and honestly, I started writing this blog post months ago when Instagram first announced they may be removing likes from platform. I didn’t for a second believe that Instagram would ever actually remove likes from their platform which is why I never actually went ahead with writing the blog post. Here we are today, with many countries likes now being hidden on Instagram, so yep, it does appear Instagram are removing likes. Today I want to break this down and talk about my thoughts about Instagram removing likes from photos...

What Is A Menstrual Cup? Intimina Lily Cup Menstrual Cup Review

Advertorial paid post - I’ll never forget the day I first got my period, I sobbed uncontrollably in my bathroom as my Mum was out at work and we had a childminder round, I was way too scared to tell her what had happened even though it’s very normal. I then remember teaching a friend how to use tampons when she got her period as obviously you need someone to help you out with these things… periods are a part of life, they’re Mother Nature and actually, I wish there was someone back then to tell me that they’re normal, healthy and I don’t have anything to be scared about. I started with pads then moved onto tampons and even writing this, it feels like some people will think this is a taboo but it’s not, it’s something females go through and it is completely normal. I actually tweeted a while back about being scared of toxic shock syndrome (I’ve been wearing tampons for years with no problems) and whilst I know it is rare, I was recommended a menstrual cup. I was always a little scared, particularly from a hygiene point of view but today I wanted to write a full review of INTIMINA, the brand behind innovative menstrual cups (perfect for first time cup wearers) if you’re thinking of trying one. I personally still do wear tampons some months, but if you are thinking of trying out a menstrual cup or just wondering what they are, I really hope this review of a menstrual cup will help you.

The Savoy London Hotel Review

the savoy London suite

One of my favourite things in life is travel. I caught the travel bug at university and I've always been into hospitality. I've been fortunate enough to stay in some of the best hotels in the world over the last few years and I guess I've always appreciated little touches and good service when it comes to the hospitality industry. I find it fascinating. A while ago some of you may have seen that I was invited as a guest to attend a press event at the Savoy Hotel in London for the Karen Tran Gala. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the experience at The Savoy and talked a lot about it to my family who decided that it would be the perfect place to arrange a family stay over to celebrate a 50th birthday that was imminent. I was delighted when my Mum decided to book it. I've now stayed at the Savoy 3x and thought this was the perfect time to write a review of one of the best hotels not just in London but in the world. Maybe you want to stay there for a special occasion or maybe you just want to dine at The Savoy, hopefully this will help you.

Hive Link Review - Helping Keep Loved Ones Safe And Secure

crab and lobster thirsk

Paid Advertorial post - It’s taken me 25 years to figure out that life is a mixture of happiness and sadness in equal measures and one thing that can bring both with it is old age. I’ve always loved elderly people, they have so many experiences to share and are usually tough characters because of all they have lived through and yet they look so cute and serene. I always say it’s important to sit and listen to their stories because you can learn so much (only yesterday I got talking to a 74 year old taxi driver who was widowed at 31 and left to bring up 3 children alone, people have just been through so much). One of my happiest memories when growing up is spending lots of time with my grandparents. It made me so happy and I still love to see them as much as I possibly can now that I’m older. In fact, I feel guilty if I don’t see them enough. By nature I’m a really happy bubbly person but one thing that makes me sad is to see my grandparents getting older and inevitably suffering with different illnesses and generally needing more help from those around them. The sadness of seeing my grandparents get old though is paralleled with equal amounts of happiness - they are funny and make me laugh a lot and I am very thankful that they have made it to such a grand old age because I know many other people who have lost grandparents when they were young (I actually only ever got to meet one set of Grandparents but I know many people never got to meet any). So yes, old age is a real mixture of sadness and happiness all rolled in to one.
