June Favourites!

June favourites

Hello! So I thought it was time to do a June favourites post, June has been the most hectic month for me and I'm quite glad that it's over actually! I can't wait for July to start (I go to Jamaica on Wednesday and then I've got an exciting trip to Paris and Italy lined up amongst other things!). I couldn't concentrate on my blog as much as I wanted to throughout June due to my placement and whilst I learnt so much, I am so excited to spend all my time on my blog now! Thanks for putting up with me! Now let's talk about the best things about this month!...

concoction hair
Concoction Hair: I received this quite a few months ago but have been using it loads this month and I love it, I featured Concoction a year or so ago and I'm so glad that I've started using their products again. This is a special personalised one and I will cherish it forever. Basically Concoction is shampoo where you call the shots, 'shampyou', you choose the products based on exactly what's wrong with your hair by choosing the base fragrance, then the super serum shots that go inside it (e.g, one for dry hair, one for damaged hair) mix and shake them and then tadaa, you've got the perfect shampoo for your hair type. You can buy them on ASOS here too which is good.

bomb cosmetics bath bomb

Bomb Cosmetics Bath Bombs: Now this came into my life quite late in the month but it's already a firm favourite. I don't have a bath at my flat but I do at home and I've finally moved home (hooray) so I can use and abuse the bath and that means filling it to the top with bath bombs - bath bombs are my weakness, I'm like a child in a candy shop, I just want them all, I like to make my bath as big and bubbly and soft as I possibly can without flooding the house. I absolutely love Lush but I've always wanted to try Bomb Cosmetics because they look so pretty (good enough to eat and cheaper than Lush) - they actually sell Bomb Cosmetics in my University Union and I've always held back from buying them but on my recent trip to London, I got the chance to try some Bomb and I've already decided that I need an unlimited supply in my house. I actually said to my Mum that if we ever win the lottery, we must have a shelf constantly stocked with bath bombs in the bathroom - challenge accepted. This particular one is the hydration bomb, it's designed to make you super smooth which is just what I like. It has pure butters in it which last up to 4 baths!

the body shop shea exfoliator

The Body Shop Shea Body Scrub: I am just obsessed with The Body Shop as you'll know if you read my blog frequently. I don't know why I've never tried their exfoliators before but they're truly divine, a nice big tub, gorgeous packaging, gorgeous smells, natural ingredients - what more could a girl want?

Dr.Ceuticals Beach Perfect Body Firmer:

Dr.Ceuticals Beach Perfect Body Firmer: You may have seen me talk about this on my new YouTube video or on my perfect beach body blog post. I've been using this for a few weeks now and my only complaint is that I wish it was bigger because it's nearly run out! More please! I use it at the top of my legs (and the back of my legs) and my stomach, anywhere that I feel I have fatty deposits. It has caffeine in it and apparently gets rid of/improves the look of cellulite. I would definitely say that my legs feel firmer after using this.

nails inc richmond varnish

Nails Inc Floral Varnish In Richmond: The new Nails Inc floral varnish is my favourite, you may have seen me wearing it on my recent Summer post and I got so many compliments when I wore it. It has tiny little flowers in it and it's just so pretty and Summery. I wore the grey latex effect varnish underneath it.

kate moss lipstick

Kate Moss Lipstick: When I went to Greece I picked up 4 lipsticks from the Kate Moss collection by Rimmel, I paid £9.00 for all 4 and I was literally so excited as I've wanted them for ages. I'll be doing a full blog post soon as I can't stop wearing them, they're such nice, neutral day time colours. You can get them in the sale on ASOS here at the moment too! Yay!

Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Contour Brow Liner

Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Contour Brow Liner: I was kindly sent this to try a while ago, it's a double ended brow liner. Even though I don't use black on my eye brows, I actually use that side of it as eye liner and then I use the brown for my eye brows so for me, this is just perfect for multi-tasking, brows and eyes, sorted!

Hair Bands by My Kitsch
Hair Bobbles by My Kitsch: I couldn't resist these cute little bobbles/bands by My Kitsch, they're mega cute and my hair looks so much nicer when it's tied up with one of these. I usually just use plain hair bobbles from Primark and they tend to snag my hair, feel too tight and look awful when they're on my wrist. These basically double up as bracelets too, perfect. How amazing is the cat one? and I haven't taken the stripy one off! You may have seen me post about these on my Instagram (emshelx)!

lvndr starfish ringLVNDR Starfish Ring: Even though this is from my own shop (LVNDR), I placed a huge order today so that I have some things for my holiday. I absolutely love all the items (of course hehe) and I just couldn't not buy some for myself. My favourite new addition to LVNDR has to be this gorgeous starfish ring, it's only £3.89 too and it fits so nicely. The perfect Summer ring, I also love the baby deer ring and the elephant and giraffe collection.

the body shop all in one bb cream

The Body Shop All In One BB Cream: I am obsessed with this BB cream this month, I swear by BB creams in Summer as they don't make me break out and I can still get a tan through them. I've always loved BB Creams that adapt to your skin colour and this does just that. My boyfriend said that it's the best he's ever seen my skin look when I put this on. It's very thin and sheer but perfect for hot months and does make my skin look flawless on good skin days.

Bonjour Soleil Bronzing Palette

Bonjour Soleil Bronzing Palette: I am so excited about this palette and I have a full review coming very soon, do not fear! This is just the dream palette, firstly it isn't a boring eye palette, it's a bronzing palette yay my dream come true, Kim Kardashian would love it as it's all very golden. I love the Snow Bunny highlighter, it gives the nicest, natural glow for Summer. The chocolate bronzer smells like chocolate too so that's pretty cool! This is the only palette you'll ever need for bronzing. Trust me. Now available online here with free online shipping too hooray. PS, the tin is gorgeous too!

elle macpherson sunflower set

Elle Macpherson Lingerie Set: You may have seen me Instagram this too but I have loved wearing the Elle Macpherson sunflower set this month, it's just so pretty. It isn't as uncomfy as I thought it would be either. Thank you to Bras and Honey lingerie for sending me such a gorgeous set, I have dreamed of owning Elle Macpherson lingerie for as long as I can remember so it was like a dream come true when this landed on my door step.

and now for my favourite brand of the month... it has to be FindersKeepers! I am literally obsessed with them, you may have seen the brand feature on my June wishlist!

What are you loving this month? Do you like the look of anything above? Do you want to try/buy any of it?

Lots of love, Em x
