Christmas Shopping Haul At Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet

I love any excuse to go shopping and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is no exception. I first discovered Cheshire Oaks a few years ago and we have been going back a few times a year ever since. For me, Christmas time is the best time to head there as you get ridiculously good bargains but also, it's beautiful too. Come shopping with me today at Cheshire Oaks and see what I picked up and bought!

Cheshire Oaks isn't too far from Manchester, around 45 minutes and is easily reached by Leeds too. When I'm at home, it usually takes about 1 hour and a half to get there. On arrival, I'd always advise parking in premium car park C, its closest to the shops. It's owned by McArthurGlen and they also have a great little designer outlet in York too which I used to go to regularly as it's so close to my family home.

Christmas at Cheshire Oaks is pretty spectacular, with wonderful singers, bellboys and cute statues around the little shopping village, not to mention the biggest Christmas tree ever. I call it a shopping village because that's really what it feels like. I'd say it's probably best at night mid-week because whilst it doesn't feel empty, there are less people there.

The service at Cheshire Oaks is always incredible with the staff wanting to chat and asking what you're looking for.

Cheshire Oaks is split into quarters and the luxury quarter is my favourite with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Burberry, Reiss, The Kooples, Hugo Boss, Paul Smith and more.

So, what did I buy? We went into Burberry and couldn't resist. I already own a Burberry trench coat and a Burberry scarf, oh and my first ever designer bag was from Burberry so it's safe to say I've always had an infatuation with the brand.

I bought a Burberry cape coat, I couldn't resist because it was so classy. It was around £650 but the price is reflected in the quality and it was reduced from over £1000. Matt went for a Burberry puffa jacket, I love the check detail in the hood. This was reduced to £300 which is incredible.

I then couldn't resist grabbing myself some Burberry gloves. They ranged from £120-175 and are beautifully made. I thought they'd go really well with my scarf.

I've had a lot of messages about my Burberry scarf, it was a gift for me for my 21st birthday and was bought from a full price store. As far as I'm aware, I've never seen any traditional check Burberry scarves in outlets but they did do a blue check scarf and a mustard check one for £290 each so if you are interested in a non-traditional but still obviously Burberry scarf then this could be a good shout.

I always find the All Saints and the Reiss at Cheshire Oaks incredibly good, often with extra 20% off too on top of the already good sales.

I did notice a really cute Christmas market at Cheshire Oaks so you could definitely go and make a day of it (don't forget to stop off at Lindt for some chocolates, I can never resist their pick and mix), if I didn't have a flight in London to catch the next day, I'd have been there all night long!

You can find out exactly which stores they have here at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks but I hope you enjoyed this blog post.
