I cannot believe I'm saying this but it's that time of year again where all the top beauty brands start releasing their advent calendars! To be honest, in the beauty industry Christmas starts in July and most beauty advent calendars launch in August, so I find September quite late to start talking about beauty advent calendars but c'est la vie, here we are: my Space NK beauty advent calendar review and contents 2023. If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I always try and review as many as I can in the run up to Christmas.
So for this year, I'm starting with Space NK as my first advent calendar review. I love Space NK advent calendars, they are always so great and include such a variety of products. I couldn't wait to try out Space NKs' beauty advent calendar for 2023 which is why it was the first one I ordered!

Why does the Space Nk Advent Calendar sell out every year?
Without fail the Space NK Advent Calendar will sell out. Why you ask? Well I think it's fair to say that Space NK is the premium beauty store we have in the UK. They stock so many different brands and constantly have their finger on the button when it comes to stocking new brands also - like Rare Beauty! They truly have everything you could ever need. If Space NK sells it, you know it's good.
With this in mind you know full well when it comes to the Space NK Advent Calendar that you're going to be receiving some amazing products behind those windows! And as someone who has been getting the Space NK Advent Calendar for years, I can confirm that is absolutely the case.
Buying a beauty advent calendar also a great way to test out new products! I can get quite overwhelmed in beauty stores these days just because there are so many incredible brands and products to choose from that I end up just defaulting to my safe products. With the Space NK Advent Calendar it forces me out of my comfort zone and I get to try products that I never would have picked up before! I have truly found some of my holy grail items due to the Space NK Advent Calendar, whether you're looking for new beauty products or wanting to stock up on old favourites, a good beauty advent calendar might be for you.

What a gorgeous box they've done for us this year! I always see Beauty Advent Calendars as a great gift idea and I would just be over the moon to open this up on Christmas Day! Remember, it can be a gift too.
This year, Space NK have gone for a kind of an intergalactic vibe. It's not really festive at all but I kind of like that! You could gift it to someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas which I feel makes it more inclusive. I feel like everyone has been a lot more interested in Space, star signs, stargazing all of that this year (at least I definitely have!) and so I feel like they have managed to tie that all in together with their packaging for their 2023 beauty advent calendar this year.
Like last year all the compartments have a little quotation on, which is a little nod to the product that could be inside and a really lovely touch.

When is the Space NK Advent Calendar on sale in 2023?
Good news - right now! Space NK have officially launched their 2023 Advent Calendar so go snap one up before they sell out, because they will! Only available at Space NK.
How much is the Space NK Advent Calendar 2023 worth?
This year the Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar is worth over £1,000! Which is the most it has ever been worth. It's retailing for £235. They are definitely savings if you buy the advent calendar.
How does the Space NK Advent Calendar compare to other brands?
For me, it's one of my favourites. You really do get such incredible products and a wide variety also! From moisturisers to candles there's so much to get excited over.
That being said it is also one of the most expensive, but I believe this is justified. Seeing as all the products you get in there are premiums you would expect to pay more.

I do have to unfortunately mention though that I didn't receive the Medik8 Crystal Retinal. I'm so disappointed as this is one of my favourite products! I understand that these things can sometimes happen, but it is just so frustrating when they do, I am sure if this happened to you {which I'm sure it wont} customer service would organise straight away as they are great at this. Out of thousands of advent calendars, I bet I was the only person who was missing a product {trust it to be what in my opinion is the best product inside the calendar though!} This does not mean it will happen to you! But however if you are missing a product from this advent calendar or a different beauty advent calendar then please make sure you email the company straight away to inform them. Rather me than you!

Dr Barbara Sturm Gentle Cleanser - I have never had a chance to try Dr Barbara Sturm but oh my am I excited for this! I always see celebrities talking about her products when they do the Vogue Beauty Favourites and so I'm really excited to give this a go and see what the hype is all about!
Olaplex Shampoo & Conditioner - I LOVEEE Olaplex! It saved my hair. I have been using their products for over two years now and my hair has stayed in amazing condition since. I cannot recommend them enough and am so glad that SpaceNK have decided to include them in this years advent calendar.

Farmacy Green Clean - I think I may talk about this product every single time I do a post mentioning beauty. It's no secret that it is one of my all time favourites! It's an incredible product. Melts my makeup off so well, incredibly calming for the skin and includes only natural products. If you've been meaning to try it for a while then it's your lucky day!

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask - One of my favourite face masks ever! I love this so much. It's great at making your skin appear refreshed and glowy - even if you are incredibly tired. Hence the name 'Jet Lag Mask'.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Chocolate - This is one of my friends cult favourite products and she says I must try - I've never tried the chocolate flavour though! I must say I'm excited. You can't go wrong with a chocolate scented Lineage product right?!
Rose Inc Ultra Lift Lash Serum Mascara - I love Rosie Huntington Whitely so much, but I haven't tried too many of her products! I'm excited to be able to give her mascara a try. I have heard great things about the whole line so I imagine this will be as amazing as her other products.

So the big question is... Is the Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar worth buying? I think judging from the incredible products you'll be receiving and the money savings you'll be making the answer is yes!
It's a wonderful present to purchase for a loved one over Christmas or for yourself.
If you love beauty as much as I do and are always on the lookout for new products it's a brilliant opportunity for you to do that. The Space NK Beauty Advent calendar always packs a punch, with favourite brands like Medik8, Charlotte Tilbury and Olaplex to name a few.
It is a shame that I had a product missing, but like I said these things happen. It doesn't make the other products I received any less special and I know I will probably be the only one that this happened to. I'd rather the brand knew so it didn't happen to anyone else.
