Tis the season for knee high boots and I'm not mad about it, it’s my favourite season. I love wearing knee high boots or thigh high boots because: 1) they go with literally every outfit - 2) look great - 3) they keep me warm but also 4) save me from shaving my legs - quadruple whammy. I keep getting so many messages on Instagram about my knee high boots so I thought I would write up a blog post reviewing Stuart Weitzman knee high boots but also, include some more affordable, dupe Stuart Weitzman knee high boots too. Hopefully this guide to the best knee high boots will help you find your Autumn pair.

Stuart Weitzman Knee High Boots Review:

P.S - currently in the sale - LOW SW boots: https://bit.ly/2UhZAHJ  / TALL SW boots: https://bit.ly/2UgPB5L / BLACK SW boots: https://bit.ly/36vp4XU

I remember tweeting a few years ago asking if Stuart Weitzman boots are really worth the price tag, everyone was right and the answer is a resounding yes, they absolutely are worth every penny. If you are looking for high quality knee high boots that will not fall down, go for Stuart Weitzman, there's a reason everyone has them and the best thing about them is they will last you for years and years.

For years I wore knee high boots that fell down my legs, I was constantly yanking them up, they were uncomfortable and they just didn’t look that great as they didn’t fit me properly. I tried my first pair of Stuart Weitzman boots on and I was hooked, now I can tell when people are wearing them as they just hug the leg so beautifully. I did film a full review video discussing them which you can see below if you haven’t seen it already.

So why are Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots the best? I personally like them because of the way they literally stick to my leg, the material is high quality so they keep me super warm but they fit almost like a second skin. They also have a little tie at the back so you can tighten them too. There’s a bit of a knack to getting Stuart Weitzman boots off, you have to fold them down half way and then pull but once you’ve got it, you’ve got it. Every year I was buying knee high boots from different brands but I could have just saved all that money and bought my Stuart Weitzman boots.

I got Stuart Weitzman boots in three different colours, a grey colour (my least worn), a black (I wear these a lot in winter but they are quite high so I don't get as much wear as I like, they're more of an evening outfit - I wish I got these Stuart Weitzman knee high boots in black as the heel is better for day to day walk) and my brown Stuart Weitzman boots - I wear these the most at the moment as I find they look quite ‘warm’ with my outfits and are nice for Autumn, also the heel height on these ones is still flattering but comfortable enough that I can walk long distances in them or do say a full day of shopping in them.

When it comes to knee high boots I would always personally go for a chunky heel rather than a thin one, this is personal preference but I just find a chunky heel so much more comfortable and as Stuart Weitzman boots are expensive, I want to get my wear out of them, rather than them just be dinner shoes.

They are suede so would need protecting if you’re going to wear them outside in rain, I personally haven’t worn them out in the rain and I am very careful during Christmas time wearing them in busy bars etc as I don’t want anyone spilling a drink down them.

Sizing wise with Stuart Weitzman boots, I just wear my normal size, a UK 6.

Do Stuart Weitzman boots go into the sale?

I always get asked about Stuart Weitzman sales, you can definitely get them in the sale on Black Friday week but they tend to sell out quickly, you can also get them in person sometimes at Bicester village, I got one pair there and the best place online to keep an eye out for sale Stuart Weitzman boots would be TheOutnet, I bought two other pairs there but I got very lucky with them. These black ones just came in stock, with a chunky heel and heavily discounted so if you want them, get them now! Or, if you want some with a higher heel, these black ones are in the sale.  Currently 20% off at Selfridges in the sale!

How to style knee high boots?

In terms of styling my knee high boots, I absolutely love wearing them with pretty little dresses as you can see on this blog post, or little mini skirts, they keep me really warm but look so flattering and perfect for day to night. I have worn them with jeans before too but it depends if that’s your vibe.

H&M knee high boots

I don't want to spend that much money on knee high boots, are there any Stuart Weitzman dupes? *I will keep adding to this when I find more*

It's a little bit like when people ask me for a dupe of an All Saints leather jacket, yes you can absolutely get cheaper versions of Stuart Weitzman boots, however, they obviously will not be the exact same but I totally understand the outlay for Stuart Weitzman boots is a lot which is why I always try and find some more affordable versions of the knee high boots, if it's the look you're going for, the boots below still look gorgeous and premium! Black boots are easier to come by but brown over the knee boots seem to be so hard to come by so I am sharing some good ones I have found below.

- Brown Thigh High Boots under £60 - I found brown knee high boots SO hard to find and finally, a high street favourite started selling these ones this week! Don't walk, RUN. They will definitely sell out! The importance here? They're the most gorgeous tan colour which are so hard to come by with knee highs and they are thigh high too!

- Daniel Footwear Brown Knee Highs - For a premium boot, without breaking the bank, these are a good Stuart Weitzman dupe.

- Steve Madden Brown Knee Highs - these are probably the most like Stuart Weitzman boots I have seen, the way they hug the leg.

- Steve Madden Black Knee Highs - again, they're much cheaper but hug the legs just like the Stuart Weitzman boots.

- Dune Knee High Boots - If you want stiletto style, I think these Dune ones look amazing.

- Simmi - These brown boots also look like good leg huggers!

Lots of love, Em x
