I know it seems crazy, we haven't even had Halloween yet and honestly, I was always taught not to talk about Christmas until after Bonfire night but in the wild world of beauty, beauty advent calendars sell out pretty quickly and usually, by November, they're gone. The Kiehl's beauty advent calendar 2020 launches on October 16th so I thought this was the perfect chance to review the new Kiehl's holiday calendar 2020 before it sells out.

Kiehl's started in New York and everyone knows I love NYC too, so this advent calendar felt quite nostalgic, albeit sad as I probably wont get to NYC this year. The Kiehl's holiday advent calendar 2020 brings the holiday festivities to the iconic New York City flagship to celebrate the season of joy with a selection of beloved skincare products encased in whimsical, limited edition designs created in collaboration with the Lyon-based illustrator, Maite Franchi. It's safe to say, the box itself is stunning, like a little story book that opens up full of beauty.

The Kiehl's advent calendar is inspired by the original apothecary located on the corner of 13rd & 3rd, Kiehl’s first ever New York City store and for those of you that know and love NYC, you'll probably notice the vibrant illustrations show this and find it quite nostalgic too!
With people looking for more eco friendly Christmas gifts, this year this is Kiehl's greenest holiday campaign to date focusing on less waste and sustainability with fully recyclable gift boxes and the advent calendars are now made with zero plastics and 100% previously recycled paper... plus you can take the minis back to Kiehl's stores when they are empty. Fair play Kiehl's, I already loved you but I love you even more now.
Inside the 24 doors, are little boxes, a mini gift to yourself every day, giving skincare lovers the opportunity to try all of Kiehl's best sellers. I love it because the RRP is £89 and the Kiehl's advent calendar includes many of their hero products, giving you the chance to try the whole range... including Crème de Corps (the best moisturiser!), Midnight Recovery Concentrate (a hero skin oil) and many more... as I said, you can read about the top products to buy from Kiehl’s.
To conclude, it is one of the more *affordable* advent calendars and you whilst you don't get lots of full sized products, you do get to try literally the whole range of Kiehl's best sellers and I just think it's perfect for packing in your suitcase on trips away!
