Part of the excitement about travelling for me is finding a cute but comfy airport outfit. Travel can be long and stressful, it's super important for me that I am comfortable when on long plane or train or even car journeys. From private jet travel outfits to economy flight travel outfits or maybe you want to know what to wear on a business or first class flight, I have you covered on this blog post with what to wear to the airport, hopefully these airport outfit ideas will help you on your next trip!

The Best Airport Outfit Ideas:

- Oversized Sweater or Hoodie With Cycling Shorts - I love to wear an oversized, comfy, bed-like, sweater with cycling shorts. I am seeing SO many people wear the gorgeous Adanola hoodie and you can dress it up or down. I find this outfit perfect because the jumper keeps me snug and cosy, cycling shorts aren't too short so still feel incredibly comfortable and not too cold but when you arrive, you're not too hot and flustered. You can also layer up and put a t-shirt underneath the sweater incase you get too warm. If you get too cold, you can grab the blanket on the flight. I find long haul flights are always a little colder so I would keep comfortable shorts for an outfit for a short haul flight.

- Designer Sweater - When travelling, I like to go for laidback luxury, so a designer sweater with gym pants or leggings. I think an oversized, comfortable sweater is the perfect outfit for a long haul flight, it doubles up like a duvet or pyjamas.

- Athleisure - I love the athleisure look, lovely workout or yoga pants {comfortable, stretchy and warm} with a nice jumper over the top. For long haul flight outfit, you cannot go wrong with comfortable activewear. You can dress it up or play it down, go for really comfortable, high waisted yoga pants and pair it with more of a premium looking knit.

- Jumpsuit - People go wild when I tell them one of my favourite airport outfit ideas is a jumpsuit but I love how put together a one-piece suit looks, but they're so comfy too. Yes they're a pain when going to the restroom but they're so comfy and you can really make them look dressed up which is great if you're trying for a first class upgrade {I have to say though, no-one wants to be uncomfortable on a flight and the times I've flown first class or upper class, I always wear comfy lounge style clothes}. I think a jumpsuit is a really lovely, well put together outfit and even if you are travelling for two days, you will arrive feeling like your outfit is put together.

- Sweater dress - If you want the put together look of a jumpsuit but prefer to have better access when going to the restroom, go for a sweater dress. Sweater dresses look so beautiful and put together {you can wear with trainers, sandals, boots and they will always look gorgeous} but they're super comfortable and warm too. - YSL Toy LouLou bag - When going to the airport, I always wear a crossbody bag that's on me at all times, it has my most essential items in {phone, passport etc} when I need to grab things quickly.

In general, the main rule for me when going to an airport is to be comfortable in all eventualities; I could be delayed, I could need to sprint to a boarding gate, I could need to sleep on the floor - I need to be prepared, warm and comfortable and luckily, there are so many incredible athleisure and loungewear brands out there making airport outfits super easy now.
