The Backless Blue Maxi Dress

Ah I am so excited to share this dress with you today, it's one you may have seen on my Instagram (@emshelx - come say hello if you don't already follow me over there!). You know when you put a dress on and just feel like a princess? Yep, that happened with this dress. I only got it the other day but fell in love instantly so just had to put it on and do a few twirls for you all!

I got the dress in a size 8 because apparently that's the size the model wears - the model is taller than me with bigger boobs so I don't think she was wearing a size 8... I'd highly recommend sizing up in this dress if you have a large back/bust because it's so tight at the back! No way could any form of bra be worn!

I paired the dress with my trusty leather jacket from my Topshop Personal Shopping session and obviously my trusty Ray-Bans too. These ASOS ones here are similar if you don't want to pay Ray-Ban prices though! 

My gorgeous shoes are from Public Desire and can be found online here. I am so shocked at how comfortable they are! I am such a sucker for nice, suede, chunky heels. I kind of forgot how to walk in heels but I can actually walk in these ones! Hooray.

I just love the colour of this dress, the way it hugs the waist and naturally, I've always been a sucker for a maxi dress too, even though I am only 5ft3!
