I personally LOVE jelly cleansers, the Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser is a super lightweight, jelly-like cleanser that effortlessly washes away the whole day's impurities and does not leave your skin feeling dry. It does what it says on the bottle: feels like jelly on your skin!
Is Drunk Elephant's Jelly Cleanser suitable for all skin types?
Totally! Drunk Elephant's Jelly Cleanser is one of their top products as it's great for all skin types and also can be used on younger skin because there are no actives in it. From dry-skinned darlings to oil prone beauties, No.9 Jelly Cleanser will cater for you. The pH-friendly formula means it will not upset our skin's delicate balance. Personally my face is a combination of dry and oily zones and I suffer from breakouts and dermatitis and I adore this cleanser! I feel squeaky clean when I've used it and my face has NEVER felt dry or tight after using it. Often a cleanser that makes you feel squeaky clean also makes you feel tight and dry, this really does not leave the skin feeling tight.
How do you use Drunk Elephant Beste No.9 Jelly Cleanser?
It's an easy use which I love. The perfect lazy girls cleanser. Simply squeeze the jelly cleanser in to the palm and gently massage on to wet or dry skin, add water to make a lovely lather and then rinse well and pat dry (never rub skin, just pat). I always double cleanse, so you can use this twice or you could use this as cleanse one or two and then add something else. I find the jelly cleanser works when it follows the Elemis Cleansing Balm.

Is Drunk Elephant No. 9 worth the money?
I get that the price could sound quite a lot for a cleanser. However, as with all Drunk Elephant products I would say a little goes a long way. To get the maximum use out of this one, don't overuse it - start with a few blobs and massage in to your skin and you will see a little covers a lot of area and used that way it will last you a long time. Some cheaper cleansers leave my skin feeling tight and dry which is exactly what I don't want so for me this product is worth the money simply because I never have tight skin when using it. A hack I have learnt with the type of bottle this comes in is to cut it in half with scissors when you are getting to the end of it. I always secure myself at least 5 extra washes by doing this! I do find you get a lot of uses out of a jelly cleanser though, a little goes a long way.

I don't know about you but after a long day the last thing I want is to spend hours taking off the day. I love to jump in the shower and use a facial cleanser that will zap all the impurities of the day away. I personally keep the Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser in my shower ready to use. It removes all traces of makeup, excess oil, stubborn mascara, sunscreen and other impurities that you may need to tackle! It's made a a blend of mild surfactants and makeup-dissolving emollients while still being gentle to skin. That's another reason I adore Drunk Elephant's Beste Jelly Facial Cleanser, because it is a multitasker and gentle on my eyes too.
Does Drunk Elephant Beste No.9 Jelly Facial Cleanser have clean ingredients?
Fear not! Drunk Elephant prides itself on using clean, skin loving ingredients. This jelly cleanser is free from sulphates, essential oils, silicones and fragrance making it super gentle. Certain ingredients impact my skin and I am pleased to report I have never had any break out problems with Drunk Elephant Jelly cleanser.
How often can Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser be used?
It's perfectly fine to use twice a day - morning and night, I do and I feel like I've had a daily spa treatment after each use. My skin feels refreshed and balanced when I have used this cleanser.
Can 11 year olds use Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser?
More children are becoming interested in skincare and that isn't a bad thing as long as they are educated about appropriate skin care for their age. I was introduced to a good skincare routine by my Nanna and Mum at an early age but it was an age appropriate routine. The brand Drunk Elephant has become popular with children because of social media and I'm sure the cool name and packaging have everything to do with it! The Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser is safe to be used by children, however the company say that 'not every product in our line should be used by younger fans, 12 and under. In general, we do not recommend using products containing high concentration of active ingredients, which address concerns that aren't present at such an age.' If you are wondering which Drunk Elephant products can be used by children, the Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser is a good starting point as it's very gentle.
