The Best Beauty Products From The Body Shop

the best products from the body shop

If you follow me on Twitter or read my blog regularly you'll know that The Body Shop is one of my favourite brands. I love The Body Shop because everything is natural, they have amazing morals and ethics, they help out so many charities and communities but also, the obvious, their products are amazing. It's you don't often see multi-taking brands who make good make up, skincare, body care and hair care products but The Body Shop manage to do that. I was recently sent a box brimming with their best selling products and I wanted to share them with you as some of them are my favourites too!

The little book above tells me exactly how many products sell per second and let's just say, if that's not proof that these are amazing products, I don't know what is! I was so excited to see some of my own holy grail items in this booklet too.

the body shop honey bronzer

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer -
I did a full blog post about The Body Shop's Honey Bronze range because it's honestly one of my favourite beauty ranges of all time. This bronzer hasn't left my make up bag since it landed - it's the nicest, warmest, most natural lovely flush of bronze ever and I can see why this is a favourite, it gives a gorgeous glow that Kim Kardashian would be proud of.

The Body Shop Exfoliator The Body Shop Shea Butter Exfoliator - I've never tried this until recently and wow, I am in love. This smells like heaven and the tub is huge unlike some exfoliators which run out after one squeeze. The packaging is gorgeous too so it looks amazing in my bathroom (an unlimited pile of these stacked in my bathroom would be a dream come true) - this is just such a lovely exfoliator and it doesn't feel like it's cutting my skin like some exfoliators do, it still feels like it's exfoliating but it feels soft and moisturising too. I didn't know such an exfoliator existed!

the body shop eye brow kit

The Body Shop Eye-Brow Set - Now I can believe that this is a best seller, my old flat mate would have loved this as she was very keen when it comes to eye brows. I personally love Benefit's Gimme Brow  because I am so lazy and rubbish when it comes to filling my eye brows in (I really need some brow lessons) but actually, this has grown on me, the brushes are small so it means that I never draw them on too big. I think I do prefer eye brow pencils but this is nice if you're good at filling in eye brows, plus it's a gorgeous little case for travel.

The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream
The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream - You may remember this from my June Favourites video and I still love it now just as much as I did in June. Crazily, one is sold every 22 seconds which just blows my mind so at least lots of other people agree with me. I'm a huge fan of BB creams that adapt to your skin colour and come out white, this really does make my skin look flawless on good skin days, it gives me such a nice radiant glow. I also like to use this as a nice primer on bad skin days too. Even my boyfriend commented on how good my skin looked when I was wearing this!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil
The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil - My Mum has always sworn by tea tree oil and everyone seems to recommend it for everything and anything. Whether that's getting rid of spots or getting rid of infections or keeping germs away. Recently I met the community fair trade officer at The Body Shop and I asked which is his favourite product from The Body Shop, he told me that he takes this on all his travels with him because it's such a multi-tasker - he said it's great for insect bites and so much more! At £7.00 for a tiny bottle it seems a lot but this is such a pure, multi-tasking product - why wouldn't you use it?

The Body Shop camomile cleansing butter

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter - I wouldn't say this is one of my favourites just yet just because I'm still currently using my cidal soap but I did try this just the once and I loved the smell and the texture. I'm not sure I'll be able to get used to using a cleansing butter on my skin so it's something I'm going to have to persevere with and really try as so many people rave about this product.  People always talk about cleansing butters, they completely melt away your make up but I just feel like they don't clean very well - they definitely do, I just think I'm not used to it!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist - This travels in my bag with me at all times and I've definitely featured it on my blog at some point - multiple times in fact. I just find it refreshes my skin when it's feeling dull, it gives my skin a much needed kick. This is my g-to travel product.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Reviver
Vitamin C Skin Reviver - I haven't actually used this yet but I have heard rave reviews. I have used a Kiehl's Vitamin C Moisturiser and it was amazing so I assume this will be just as good, I was told that vitamin C is so so good for the skin so I need to get a move on and start using this. This can be used to enhance the skins natural glow and worn alone or under make up, I think I might start using it as a primer!

Nutriganics Drops Of Youth
Nutriganics Drops Of Youth - Another product that I haven't used yet and something I will probably start to use later in the year, I love the idea of smoother looking skin and I've aways been taught that with skincare, you use anti-ageing products to prevent ageing, not to stop it when you've already got wrinkles! I think this is something I'll use when the weather gets super dark and when my Kiehl's midnight recovery oil runs out.

The Body Shop The Expert Brush Collection
The Body Shop Make Up Brushes - I've always loved The Body Shop make up brushes, they're so soft so they do take quite a while to wear in, I think they get better with time and at the moment I am just using the face and body brush (I have been using this for years) along with my Real Techniques brushes. I know so many people who swear by The Body Shop make up brushes (plus they're sold once every 12 seconds!) so I would highly recommend them as I've always used them too alongside other brushes. They're so affordable as well in comparison to other brush brands (and cruelty free). You can read my full review here.

That's it for The Body Shop's top 10 best sellers/beauty gems but I wanted to quickly talk about my favourite product from The Body Shop (of all time) as I was shocked to see that this wasn't in their beauty gems booklet...
The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter

The Body Shop Body Butter - Now you may have seen me talk about this on my holy grail beauty products blog post, and rightly so because it is absolutely amazing. I have most definitely saved the best until last here. Everyone knows that there's no beating The Body Shop when it comes to the best body butters ever - my Mum swears by them, so does my Grandma. They make me feel smooth, toned, tighter and they leave me smelling amazing and feeling soft for days afterwards. Before my trip to Greece I used this daily for about a month and I saw such a difference in my skin, it looked so much more radiant and toned. If I won the lottery the first thing I would do is buy their body butter in every single smell and then stack them all up in my bedroom and use a different one every morning and every night (not that you need to because you will honestly feel moisturised for days afterwards). My supplies are running drastically low and I cannot wait to go and top myself up.

Do you like The Body Shop? Do you use any of the above products? Do you like the sound of any of these products? What are your 'beauty gems'?

Lots of love, Em x
