The SURI Electric Toothbrush Review - Is The Suri Toothbrush worth it?

SURI Electric Toothbrush

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I love anything that blends beauty, wellness and design. So when I kept seeing the SURI electric toothbrush everywhere (honestly, it felt like every chic bathroom shelf I admired had one), I had to try it and when I did I fell in love, not just with the aesthetic but with the great teeth brushing standards this delivers.  I'm here to tell you all about it today because this isn't an average toothbrush. Here is an honest review of the Suri electric toothbrush.

SURI Electric Toothbrush

SURI Electric Toothbrush

SURI stands for Sustainable Rituals, and that ethos runs through everything they do.

They created the toothbrush after recognising that billions of plastic toothbrushes end up in landfill every year and honestly, once you know that, it’s hard to ignore.

What makes them different?

  • Plant-based brush heads (made from corn starch and castor oil)
  • A recyclable and repairable aluminium handle
  • Free recycling programme for used brush heads
  • Long-life design (this isn’t something you replace every year which makes me very happy)
It’s luxury meets sustainability and I’m completely here for it. From the moment I unboxed it, I knew this was different. It’s sleek, beautifully minimal, and feels more like a lifestyle accessory than a dental essential. And yes, it looks so good in my bathroom.

I’ve tried a lot of electric toothbrushes over the years, but the SURI feels refreshingly simple. One button. Two modes. No overwhelming tech. Just clean, effective brushing.

And I can tell you that I get that fresh-from-the-dentist feeling every single time.

It uses sonic vibrations (around 33,000 per minute) to break down plaque and clean deeply between teeth but without that aggressive, almost too intense feeling that some brushes have.

It’s also noticeably quieter which I didn’t think I’d care about, but now I absolutely do.

SURI ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH

Is the SURI toothbrush actually good?

Yes, genuinely. It gives a really thorough clean and leaves that polished, fresh feeling. Reviews consistently say it performs well despite being more gentle than some competitors.

How much does the SURI toothbrush cost?

The SURI 2.0 typically retails at around £85–£105, depending on the retailer and bundle .

Replacement heads are usually around £10–£15.  I didn't think that was bad for the quality of clean I receive from this little beauty.

Where can you buy the SURI toothbrush?

Amongst others you can buy SURI from:

Is the SURI toothbrush better than Oral-B or Philips Sonicare?

It depends what you want.

  • If you want power + lots of modes → Oral-B / Sonicare
  • If you want design, simplicity + sustainability → SURI wins

It’s slightly less powerful than some premium rivals, but still very effective and I can personally vouch for a very well cleaned mouth having used it.

How long does the battery last?

Around 40 days on a single charge, which is amazing for travel.

Does the SURIi come with a travel case?

Yes, the SURI comes with a travel case which is one of the things I love about it. The newer version even includes a UV-cleaning travel case, which feels very premium.

Is SURI good for sensitive teeth?

Yes. It has a gentler brushing action and soft bristles, which makes it ideal if you find other brushes too harsh and the size and shape of the head is great too.

How many modes does it have?

Just two:

  • Everyday clean
  • Polish

I actually love this, no overthinking, just brush.

Is it really eco-friendly?

More than most electric toothbrushes, yes.

  • Plant-based heads
  • Recyclable materials
  • Repairable design

It’s one of the few brushes genuinely trying to reduce waste in this category .

Are there any downsides?

To keep it balanced, if I have to comment on anything (but none of this puts me off):

  • It’s not the most powerful on the market (but I've used powerful ones that are too harsh for me)
  • It’s more expensive than basic options (but it's way beyond basic)
  • Some people prefer more features or modes (I like simplicity)

Final Thoughts: Is the SURI Toothbrush Worth It?

Honestly, I didn’t expect to feel this strongly about a toothbrush but here we are, I adore the SURI toothbrush.

The SURI has completely elevated something I do twice a day into a little ritual. It looks beautiful, works brilliantly, and aligns with values that feel increasingly important.

If you’re someone who loves thoughtful design, sustainability, and that clean-girl aesthetic (you know the one), this is such an easy upgrade.

And for me? The SURI isn’t just a toothbrush anymore, it’s one of those small daily luxuries that quietly makes life feel a bit more put together.

And once you try it… I have a feeling you’ll feel exactly the same.

Lots of love, Em x
