I am in such a Valentinesy mood at the moment and really fancied writing a kind of Valentines tool kit/general date night tool kit post. Obviously this is just a bit of a laugh, I don't think you should make yourself all pampered just for a male, I think you should do it for you and love yourself first. But anyway, let's talk about getting prepped for a date night!
Tan! - I haven't used actual fake tan in ages but I do love gentle natural moisturising lotions. One of my favourites is Cocoa Brown's Gentle Bronze which you can get online here (it's SO affordable!).
Spritz! - I love nothing more than feeling fresh and hydrated, The Body Shop's Vitamin E Face Mist is my go-to when it comes to a daily hydrator. I throw this in my bag and spray it over my skin all day to keep me feeling fresh and hydrated. It smells amazing too.
Prep Those Lips! - I am obsessed with the new Vaselines! I was kindly sent these to try and I am so in love. This one actually gives you natural, pretty rosy lips too!
Prep The Skin! - Everyone dreams of having perfect skin and these two products might just help! I've been using Ole Henriksen's Pure Truth Melting Cleanser (a 3 in 1) which melts all make up and leaves you oh-so hydrated for months now and I wouldn't use anything else now! I also swear by Nude Skin's natural Miracle Mask and have done for years for fresh, bright, happy skin.
Before Bed - My favourite oil the night before something special is my Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil - I swear by it. Recently, because it's run out (sobs) I have been using Weleda's Almond Skin Oil, it's for sensitive skin so it doesn't make me break out and it leaves my skin glowing and smooth the next morning. I also use this to take my eye make up off too on cotton wool pads and I find it leaves my lashes so smooth and happy.
