Most of you will know by now that I am a massive fresh, bright, bold colour lover and that's why I got so excited when these beautiful creations landed on my doorstep. Clinique was the first 'real' beauty brand I ever used, my Mum and Grandma swear by it and I've always had a soft spot in my heart for it. It's great to see that their original and amazing chubby stick has evolved and beauty lovers now have an even bigger, more exciting collection. I can't wait to share this with you!
I am now the proud owner of two of the new baby tint lip balms and two of the cheek colour balms. I was always too scared to try creme cheek blushes but I'm officially hooked now I've finally got the hang of it. Let's talk about the lips first...
Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint in Poppin' Poppy - This is such a handbag staple for me, it's such a beautiful, natural colour - I know it doesn't look natural on the tube but it's just a tint so it's more of a light kind of lipbalm than a lipstick. It's nice to have a vibrant tint to my lips, that doesn't dry them out. I think this is a really nice transitional colour from Summer to Autumn too.
Robust Rhubarb Chubby Stick Cheek Balm - I was so excited when I saw the cheek balms, I've always dreamt of using cheek balms and nice, happy, bright, fresh creamy colours on my cheeks and now, my dream is a reality. This is so easy to use, you may have seen me use it on my Summer Get Ready With Me YouTube video - you literally rub it onto your cheeks (it feels nice and moisturising), I do it after foundation application, blend it with my fingers and tadaa, I have lovely bright, natural cheeks. Robust Rhubarb is the dream colour, it's so pretty and innocent.
Chubby Stick Cheek Balm in Amp'd Up Apple - I think this is such a gorgeous sultry colour, it's a really nice colour for a nice bronzed, evening look. I've found that the colours stay on really well all day and they transform your look instantly, they're so easy to just draw on and blend in and you could easily use this one as more of a bronzer/contouring tool too. At £19.99 I don't think they're too expensive to say they're from such a good brand.
Top: Cheek Balm in Amp'd Up Apple, Cheek Balm in Robust Rhubarb, Lip Tint in Coming Up Rosy, Bottom: Lip Tint in Poppin' Poppy
So as you can see from the swatches, the cheek colours are a lot more prominent than the lip tints but as mentioned, they are just gorgeous balmy lip tints with a nice hint of colour, perfect for a natural day look.
