A little bit about Liberty London
Before we get into the advent calendar, let's talk about Liberty itself because I think this is part of what makes the calendar so special.
Liberty was founded in London in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty, who opened his first store on Regent Street with a vision of creating somewhere that was completely different from the traditional department stores of the time.
Today, Liberty is famous around the world for its distinctive prints, fabrics, fashion, beauty, homeware and incredibly well-curated collection of designers and brands.
The iconic Great Marlborough Street store opened in the 1920s and has become one of London's most recognisable buildings. It was constructed using timber from two former Royal Navy ships, which I think is such an amazing piece of history.
And then there are those prints.
Liberty's archive contains more than 45,000 designs, with the in-house design team continuing to create and reinterpret prints today. Its famous Tana Lawn cotton is another huge part of the Liberty story.
For me, Liberty has always represented discovery. You go in looking for one thing and somehow leave having discovered five things you didn't even know existed.
That is exactly how I feel about the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar.

How much is the Liberty Advent Calendar 2026?
The Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 costs £285 in the UK.
Liberty says the contents are worth over £1,300, which is the highest value the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar has ever had.
So yes, £285 is a LOT of money for an advent calendar.
But when you look at the individual products included, particularly the number of full-size luxury skincare, makeup and fragrance products, the value is quite extraordinary.
How many products are in the Liberty Advent Calendar 2026?
There are 29 beauty products, including 21 full-size products, plus the Liberty drawstring bag.
The calendar itself provides 25 days of beauty surprises, so some days contain more than one product.
Is the Liberty Advent Calendar 2026 worth it?
Honestly, I think this is one of those questions where it depends on what you actually want from an advent calendar.
If you want 25 inexpensive little beauty treats, then no this isn't that.
But if you love luxury beauty, skincare, fragrance and discovering new brands, I think the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is incredibly exciting.
There are some genuinely high-end names in here, including Augustinus Bader, Sisley Paris, Sunday Riley, MZ Skin, U Beauty, Matiere Premiere, Lisa Eldridge, Trinny London, Ex Nihilo, Jones Road and ILIA.
The calendar also includes 26 products that Liberty says are exclusive to this edit, which makes it feel much more special than simply putting together a collection of products you could easily buy elsewhere.
And because the stated product value is more than £1,300 for a £285 calendar, there is a very substantial difference between what you're paying and the combined value of the contents.
For me, that makes it a very tempting luxury beauty purchase.
Which brands are in the Liberty Advent Calendar 2026?
There are a huge number of brands represented this year.
They include:
Violette_FR, Augustinus Bader, LBTY, Trinny London, Matiere Premiere, Sunday Riley, Sisley Paris, Jones Road, U Beauty, ILIA, REOME, MZ Skin, Ex Nihilo, Lisa Eldridge, Bibbi Parfum, Votary, Vyrao, Fugazzi, Zelens, Grown Alchemist, D.S. & Durga, Escentric Molecules, Verden, Charlotte Mensah, Davines, Maria Nila, Joonbyrd, Darling and Innersense.
This is one of the things I love about Liberty calendars. They don't just throw together a collection of the most obvious mainstream beauty brands.
There are plenty of names I know and already love, alongside brands that I think are going to send people down a very enjoyable beauty rabbit hole.
What are the best products in the Liberty Advent Calendar 2026?
This is obviously completely subjective, but there are a few products that immediately jumped out at me.
Augustinus Bader The Face Oil is a very exciting inclusion, as is the Sunday Riley C.E.O. Vitamin C 15% Brightening Serum.
I'm also particularly excited about Lisa Eldridge Baume Embrace, ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara, Trinny London's Eye2Eye, MZ Skin Intensive Bio-Placenta Eye Cream and Violette_FR Lip Nectar.
And if you're a fragrance person, this calendar is particularly strong.
You've got Matiere Premiere, Ex Nihilo, Bibbi, Vyrao, Fugazzi, D.S. & Durga and Escentric Molecules all represented.
For me, that variety is one of the biggest selling points.
Are the products full size?
A lot of them are.
There are 21 full-size products out of the 29 beauty products.
There are also travel-size products, which I actually think makes sense for expensive fragrance and beauty products because it allows you to try brands that you might not otherwise spend hundreds of pounds on.
Is the Liberty Advent Calendar good for skincare lovers?
Yes.
If skincare is your main beauty obsession, I think there is plenty here to get excited about.
You've got Augustinus Bader, Sunday Riley, Sisley Paris, U Beauty, REOME, MZ Skin, Votary and Zelens, covering everything from vitamin C and facial oils to moisturisers, eye care and resurfacing treatments.
It isn't purely a skincare calendar, though, so I would say it is best suited to someone who enjoys discovering a mixture of beauty categories.
Is the Liberty Advent Calendar good for fragrance lovers?
Absolutely.
This is actually one of my favourite things about the 2026 edit.
There are multiple niche and luxury fragrance names, including Matiere Premiere, Ex Nihilo, Bibbi Parfum, Vyrao, Fugazzi, D.S. & Durga and Escentric Molecules, as well as Liberty's own LBTY fragrance.
If you love perfume but don't necessarily want to commit to a full-size bottle every time you discover something new, this is a brilliant way of exploring different fragrance houses.
Does the Liberty Advent Calendar contain makeup?
Yes.
There is a lovely selection of makeup, including:
- Violette_FR Lip Nectar
- Trinny London Eye2Eye
- Jones Road Miracle Balm
- ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara
- Lisa Eldridge Baume Embrace
So although I would describe this as a beauty calendar rather than a makeup advent calendar, there is still plenty for makeup lovers.
Does the Liberty Advent Calendar contain haircare?
Yes.
There are several haircare treats, including Charlotte Mensah Manketti Oil Finishing Mist, Davines OI Shampoo, Maria Nila Gloss Coat and Innersense Repair Mask.
Does it contain bodycare?
Yes, and I actually think this helps make the calendar feel more rounded.
There's Verden Nocturne Magnesium Body Spray, Joonbyrd Violet Haze Polishing Body Scrub, Darling Multi-Biotics Hydrating & Balancing Body Lotion and Grown Alchemist Regenerating Hand Cream.
Is the Liberty Advent Calendar limited edition?
Yes.
This is a limited seasonal product and Liberty has a very strong track record of selling out its Beauty Advent Calendar.
Liberty says its Beauty Advent Calendar has sold out for 11 consecutive years, so this is definitely not something I would leave until November if you know you want one.
When did the Liberty Advent Calendar 2026 launch?
The 2026 Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar launched in September 2026 and is available from Liberty while stocks last.
At the time of writing, Liberty lists the calendar as in stock.
Does the Liberty Advent Calendar come with free delivery?
Yes. Liberty currently offers free UK standard delivery on the Beauty Advent Calendar, with delivery stated as within seven working days.
Liberty's help centre says Advent Calendars are dispatched within 2–3 days of the order being placed, with UK deliveries sent by DPD or HIVED.
Can I get the Liberty Advent Calendar in store?
Yes. Liberty sells the calendar through its London store as well as online, subject to availability.
Be warned though, carrying it through London will be tricky which is why I favour buying something like this on line and having the luxury of it being delivered to my door.
What does the 2026 Liberty Advent Calendar look like?
The calendar has had a refresh for 2026 and features illustrations by Clym Evernden.
Importantly for collectors, Liberty says this is Clym Evernden's final advent calendar design, which gives this year's packaging an extra collectible element.
And because it is Liberty, I wouldn't be throwing the packaging away afterwards.
It is the sort of thing you keep.
How big and heavy is the Liberty Advent Calendar?
The 2026 Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar measures approximately 41cm x 41cm x 16cm and weighs 5.05kg.
So this is not a tiny little calendar that you can tuck away on a shelf!
It is a substantial box and very much feels like a luxury beauty experience.
Does the Liberty Advent Calendar have a Golden Ticket?
YES and this is one of the most exciting parts.
There are 20 Golden Tickets hidden across the 2026 Beauty Advent Calendars, and each Golden Ticket is worth £1,000 to spend at Liberty.
Imagine opening one of your advent calendar doors and finding that!
I think I would genuinely scream.
How much could I save with the Liberty Advent Calendar?
Liberty states that the combined value of the products is over £1,300, while the calendar costs £285.
That means the headline saving is over £1000 although, as always with beauty advent calendars, the real value depends on whether you'll actually use the products included.
For me, though, there are enough genuinely exciting products here that I think the value is very convincing.
Is the Liberty Advent Calendar better than other beauty advent calendars?
This is impossible to answer universally because it depends on your favourite brands and what you want from an advent calendar.
But I think Liberty has a very particular advantage.
It feels like a luxury beauty discovery box rather than simply a collection of products.
There is a mixture of cult favourites, expensive skincare, niche fragrance, makeup, haircare and brands you may never have tried before.
And that is exactly what I want from an advent calendar.
Can I buy the Liberty Advent Calendar as a gift?
Absolutely.
In fact, I think it would make an incredible Christmas present for a serious beauty lover.
The only thing I would say is that £285 is a significant gift budget, so I would want to know that the person receiving it genuinely loves beauty and would appreciate discovering lots of different brands.
For the right person, though? Dream present.
Can I use a Liberty Beauty Drop discount?
Yes.
Liberty's Beauty Drop members can receive £25 off one 2026 Beauty Advent Calendar. The discount is applied automatically online when you are logged into the Liberty account associated with your Beauty Drop subscription, and it can also be applied in store.
That would bring the calendar down to £260, which makes the value even more tempting.
My verdict: Is the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 worth buying?
For me, this is a huge yes.
I've always loved Liberty, so perhaps I'm biased, but I think they've done an amazing job with the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2026.
I love that there is such a mixture of products. I love the number of full-size products. I love the luxury skincare. I love the niche fragrance selection. I love that there are brands I already know and adore alongside names that I want to discover. And, of course, I love that whole Liberty feeling that makes even opening a drawer feel like a little event.
The £285 price tag is certainly not insignificant, but with 29 beauty products, 21 full-size products, a stated value of over £1,300, 26 products exclusive to the edit, a beautiful Liberty print bag and the chance of finding a £1,000 Golden Ticket, I think the 2026 edition is one of the most exciting Liberty Advent Calendars yet.
And knowing that Liberty's Beauty Advent Calendar has sold out for 11 years in a row, I definitely wouldn't wait too long if this is the one you've been hoping for.
For me, the new 2026 Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar is everything I want from a luxury beauty advent calendar: beautiful, indulgent, full of brilliant brands and, most importantly, genuinely exciting to open. I absolutely adore it and I have a feeling this one is going to disappear very quickly.
