I’ve always loved Marks & Spencer and it’s always had a huge profile with my family as it was founded in my hometown of Leeds. Both of my Great-Grandmas and Nanna lived for M&S and always talked about the fabulous reputation of the then St. Michael’s brand for quality, customer service and value for money. Seriously, with my Yorkshire roots, M&S & my family go WAYY back. My Nanna prided herself on the fact that she used to buy all my Mum’s clothes there when she was a baby. Over the years of course we have seen the addition of their food halls which are just amazing (last week I was lucky enough to attend the launch of the Marks & Spencer Christmas food for 2022 which is utterly mind blowing)
M&S have long had a reputation for their own brand of respectable beauty products and around 2012 enhanced that range with branded items which was a great shout. Included in this year’s beauty advent calendar is a mixture of 25 of the very best selling M&S beauty products together with a selection of other brands such as Origins, REN amongst others. I for one think this is a winning idea for someone who wants a multi-brand advent calendar.
The box is designed to be re-usable and is a super pretty sparkly pink designed box complete with interior mirror. I'm here for the sustainability of this. This advent calendar has a really good mixture of products including skincare, nails, haircare, bath and body, make up and fragrance so the whole range basically (see below if you want all the juicy details of the exact contents of the M&S Beauty Advent Calendar 2022).

The M&S advent calendar is based on 2 key principles - reusability and affordability. It can be purchased for £40 when you spend £30 in store on clothing, home or beauty - meaning it would make a great gift and making it one of the most affordable beauty advent calendars on the market this year.
My love of M&S, the superb range of products and beautiful box make this a really good option if you are looking for a mid range advent calendar in 2022. Of course, the items are smaller than in many of the more expensive advent calendars but for the price and range of quality brands you can't really go wrong.

Nails INC Be Your Inc.redible Self (in two shades) - the only thing I am disappointed in, I would have liked to see another brand rather than two nail varnishes as not everyone wears nail varnish BUT at least you could gift one and having two means you are more than likely to love at least one of the shades.

Aveda Botanical Hair Range - you get the hair mask from Aveda this year and I love hair masks and just adore Aveda. Nothing says Christmas like a pamper with a hair mask and a Christmas movie. One of the best hair brands out there, loved seeing them inside. I naturally just wish the product was bigger but for £40 you can't grumble.
Origins Drink Up Mask - I use this mask on flights, my skin literally drinks it up in winter or when dehydrated. It's phenomenal, loved seeing Origins in there.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser: It's a super mini but I have never met anyone who doesn't love this moisturiser, one the first I ever used so it's very nostalgic for me.
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer: I really love this hair range and love that we got a shampoo and conditoner AND Elasticizer in there! The entire set and perfect for travel as I love packing good shampoos and treatments in my case.
Clinique High Impact Mascara: I loved seeing a full sized mascara in there, Clinique's High Impact Mascara is a really goodie, so lovely to have that in there.
Living Proof Dry Shampoo: The best premium dry shampoo on the market, I absolutely LOVE Living Proof! The size of this is great for travel.
To conclude, final review of Marks and Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar:
I think the M&S beauty advent calendar is the best priced multi-brand advent calendar I have seen so far. If you are wanting to try a wide range of brands then this is definitely the beauty advent calendar for you. I am super impressed with the quality of brands too, so many hero brands and also some new items to try from M&S beauty in house. I think this would make a really exciting, long lasting gift for someone too - without breaking the bank.
