Men's Christmas Gift Guide

mens christmas gift guide

Hello! So this post is really over-due but better late than never ey! It took me so long to write my huge female Christmas gift guide and I just couldn't face writing another one straight away - writing guides became quite tedious because I put so much time and effort into that one (I wanted to make sure I gave you the best gift guide ever this year!) but I'm back with a fresh gift guide and this time, it's for the man in your life. Whether you're buying for your brother, your boyfriend, your Dad, your Grandad or your friend - I've got you covered. Let's get started... you've only got 24 days left until the big day!

Novelty Gifts/Stocking Fillers:
Novelty gifts are always winners, you can play with them on Christmas day, they're great ice breakers for awkward family moments and also, they're affordable! Great little items to bulk up those stockings.

Novelty Table Tennis Set - £9 -
I saw this and just had to add it to the gift guide... I haven't come across a guy yet who doesn't love playing Table Tennis on holiday. I think this little table tennis set is perfect to get some competition going on Christmas day!

Stuff Every Man Should Know Book - £7.99 - A lot of men like to think they're always right about everything, so I think this book is a great little gift, that way, he really will know everything once he's read it! (Apparently anyway)

Beer and Food Book - £9.99 - For a man who likes his beer and food, I think this is a cool gift. It teaches you about matching beer with food and gives you beer recipes too. Pretty awesome if he's going to start cooking for you...

The Hungover Cookbook - £9.99 -
This is one for the students...

Man's Shoe Shine Kit - £14.99 -
Because who doesn't want shiny shoes?

XBOX Live Gold Membership 3 months - You'll get major points for getting him this, most guys seem to own a games console and if you don't know what game to get him, I think this £25 giftcard here for  to spend on movies, games, music or more on his XBOX is easy and great.

All Saints boxers - £35 - I used to work in All Saints and we sold out of these every single year. Boys love boxers just like girls love getting new lingerie in their stocking.

Marc Jacobs earphones - £59 - I saw these recently in a shop and thought they were so cool. For the guy who likes music and designers, get him some headphones made by a designer!

Cheese making kit - £25 - Food lover? This mozzarella and ricotta cheese making set will go down a treat!

Tabasco Chocolate - £4.99 - Chocolate lover? Spice lover?

Mr Potato Head Chocolate Board Game - £8.99 - If board games are his thing (or if you just want to add something fun to the Christmas party) I love this Mr potato head game and there's also chocolate monopoly - £11.99 and Chocolate Scrabble here if that's more his thing!

Shop some of the above by clicking the photos below or find some more little ideas by scrolling through...

Leather Goods:

Watch and Cufflink Set - ASOS - £24 - ASOS always have great gift sets and manly presents... I think this watch and cufflink set is great if he isn't someone who's into mega expensive watch brands.

Daniel Wellington Watch - If you're wanting to get him more of an expensive watch, but one that isn't going to break the bank, then Daniel Wellington is the answer. These watches are absolutely perfect and range from only around £100 - good news? You can get 15% off online here using promo code holidayemtalks - thank me later! They're honestly the nicest watches I've ever seen and worth every penny. For men, I love the Classic Sheffield, the Classic York and the Nottingham best!

Ted Baker Tablet Case - £35 - I fell in love with this stunning case.

All Saints Wallet - £40 - All Saints wallets are hands down the nicest wallets ever and they are so affordable.

Ted Baker Wallet and Card Holder Gift Set - £45 - I think this gift set is a really good, affordable gift for a Ted Baker lover!

Ralph Lauren Belt - Guys like belts right? Most of them do anyway! Belts are essential wardrobe items and you can get a gorgeous Ralph Lauren one for £50 here or so many for every price range here on ASOS.

Filofax Leather Folder and Tablet Case - £59 - This is the ultimate gift for a business man. Such a fancy, beautiful folder and case for his tablet.

Reiss Leather Wash Bag - £79 - I just love Reiss - they do such gorgeous wash bags and generally amazing things for guys.

Ralph Lauren Leather Passport Case - £85 -
If he likes to travel, why not send him off in style?

Reiss Briefcase - £195 - For the grown up man; A bit on the pricey side, but this is gorgeous.

Reiss Messenger Bag - £195 - You can't get much more classy than this!

All Saints Gym Bag - £198 - All Saints make the best leather goods and their gym bags are so insanely nice. I would steal this from my boyfriend if he owned it.

Mulberry Holdall - £595 - If you're wanting to splash out on leather, there's nowhere better than Mulberry - be sure to check out Aspinal too though for more affordable bags.

My favourite sites for leather goods:

- Whistles - Amazing leather jackets, shoes and accessories

-All Saints - Literally the most amazing leather things for guys ever. If only I still got my staff discount!

-Aspinal - Still very high-end but a lot cheaper than Mulberry - I personally prefer it to Mulberry.

You know the drill, shop and scroll...

Grooming:

Every man likes to smell good, surely? So here are a few nice grooming bits and bobs (some of which you will probably want to keep for yourself!)

Bulldog Shave Kit - £9.99 - Most men love shaving kits and this one is so affordable!

Jack Wills Wash Bag - £24.50 - If you're not feeling spending much on a washbag, this Jack Wills one is nice and affordable!

Ted Baker Skincare Set - £25 - I love Ted Baker Christmas gift sets - they're always so great but such good value too!

Calvin Klein Obsession Gift Set - £15 in the sale from £60 - You should buy this just because it's in the sale!!!

Clarins Grooming Essentials - £38 - An easy starter kit when it comes to male grooming from one of the best in the industry, Clarins.

Taylor Of Bond Street Grooming Set - £45 - A more expensive shaving kit but I love the classiness of it.  If you're wanting a mid-range shaving set I always go to Bluebeards Revenge (my brother absolutely loves it) now available on FeelUnique here - hooray!

Mont Blanc Eau De Toilette - £43 - I went to a Mont Blanc event the other day and only then did I realise they do aftershave! It smells incredible too and the bottle is really nice, price point isn't too bad either!

Fragrance - In terms of fragrance, if you don't know what to get him, I would always reccommend Marc Jacobs Bang, Tom Ford Black Orchid (full gift set only £69 here - very well priced for Tom Ford!) and Bleu De Chanel (the ultimate fragrance for him!) - you cannot go wrong with these three scents, trust me!

Best sites for Christmas grooming gifts:

- Selfridges - We know how amazing their beauty hall is for women but their range online is pretty epic for men and it's competitively priced too!

- ASOS beauty section - ASOS never fails to surprise me - It excites me that they have such a great Christmas gift section/grooming section! They have something for every budget too.

- Feel Unique - Well FeelUnique is one of my favourite sites ever but I only just realised they sell stuff for men too! Amazing.

Easy click, scroll and shop...

Boyish Bits/Technology:
Ah men and their technology! Here are a few technology ideas!

Lomography Camera - £49.00 -
If he likes photography, this is a DIY camera, you can also get one for £29.00 here - they're so cool! Or you could always get him a polaroid camera... I love my Fujifilm one and they now sell it on Urban Outfitters online here too! Woohoo. Perfect for an artsy/photography lover or just someone who likes to capture memories.

Jaw Bone Fitness Band - £99 - If he's into his health and fitness - this is seriously cool. It tracks your activity throughout the day. I want one for myself please!

GoPro Mini Video Camera - £99 - Who wouldn't want a GoPro? These tiny cameras are great for aventorous people who want to film their ongoings! If he's already got one, you could get him accessories like this helmet, only £14.99 or the chest mount harness (my personal favourite!) £34.99 here to go with it!

Ipod Nano - £129 - In need of a new music pal? Ipod Nanos and the Ipod shuffle - £40 here seem to have gone down in price making them very swanky and affordable gifts!

Apple Ipad Air - £399 reduced to £319 - If he's been a good boy, you could always treat him to an Ipad! If £399 is a bit expensive, go for the Apple ipad Mini just £199.

Playstation 4 - Game lover? What about a new station (£399) or if he's team XBOX, get him the XBOX One, £349 here.

Jarre Speaker And Docking Station - £399 - Uh expensive but so amazing. These speakers are the coolest present ever - they look insane! I also love the matte black version here.

Apparel:
There's no escaping fashion!

New Balance Trainers - from £40-90 - I'm a huge fan of New Balance trainers and I bought my boyfriend some last year. They have a great selection on Selfridges here and ASOS here.

Herschel Little America Back Pack - £105 - If he likes his backpacks or if he's going travelling, this one is so lovely, you can get a mini version for £60 here too.

Ralph Lauren Merino Wool Hat And Scarf Set - £105 - Baby it's cold outside but this set will keep him warm! I also love this All Saints Scarf (£80).

T-shirts - Boys love t-shirts, I know as I worked in All Saints for years and mainly sold t-shirts to every one who came in! I love this plain Ralph Lauren one and the famous All Saints Tonic crew, here £28 - online only now (crazy, we used to sell so many in the stores!) Also, if you sign up to Flash-Price (the first 1000 people who sign up to their newsletter) will receive a completely free t-shirt - that's another Christmas present for him I guess!

Hoodies - Who doesn't love a hoodie? Cosy and you can steal it! I love this Ralph Lauren one, the All Saints Wilde hoodie here (£89) and the merino wool zip hoody (£89) here. Again, a great range of affordable hoodies can be found on ASOS here.

Coats - If he wants a jacket or a coat this year, this Hugo Boss wool and cashmere coat (£350) is amazing, not forgetting the quilted barbour jacket that every guy needs (£119), and then obviously, All Saints do the best coats here. I also love this Ralph Lauren jacket (£125) - the price isn't too bad either. If he's wanting an on trend rain jacket, the brand Rains do amazing pieces - I want one for myself! If he's more of a leather lover, we all know there's only one place to get men's leather jackets and that's All Saints. I love this one here (£295) but it will last him a lifetimeOh and you can always rely on ASOS for jackets and coats at very good prices. If none of these take your fancy, Flash Price have some really affordable ones, I love this hooded coat here, only £34.99!

Knitwear - You can't beat cosy jumpers and knits. I love this All Saints Jumper - £134 here and the Selfridges knitwear section here is amazing too. I tend to buy male knits from ASOS, like with everything, they also do a great range of jumpers. I particularly love this grey chunky one (£30).

Best sites for apparel:

Flash-Price.com - I've been doing some work with Flash Price recently and they're seriously cool. The aim of their site is to cut the price tag on fashion, they'll be selling clothes cheaper than they'll be found anyhere else (great for our purses).  As well as special Christmas discounts, for the first 1000 people who sign up to their offers newsletter (sign up here), they’ll receive a free HACK t-shirt (RRP £29.99, no purchase necessary!) and for anyone who buys a pair of their Urban Logik boots, they’ll get themselves a free Beck and Hersey backpack (RRP £19.99) as a thank you*

- ASOSHow could I not include ASOS? The King and Queen of all things fashion related. I really don't think there's any other contender. You can get 20% off everything too here on ASOS using code CYBERWKND20

- Selfridges - I honestly do think Selfridges is AMAZING for men's clothes - everything is so stylish.

Don't forget to check out my list of Black Friday/Cyber Monday best deals and sales because most of this stuff is probably reduced now! Check it out here.

So there we have it! Now you're done reading that, it's time to head over to my Female Christmas Gift Guide and buy something for yourself!
