Making gift guides has to be one of my favourite things, pretty geeky, but I love getting everything together and making a cute, easy gift guide which is suitable for all budgets. I personally love Mother's Day, I always spend the day with the best two women in my life, my Mum and my Grandma. Mother's Day for me isn't about huge, expensive gifts, it's usually about a meaningful card and some nice flowers, maybe some yummy chocolates too. I've put together a simple Mother's day gift guide which features something for every price range and hopefully, something that everyones Mum will love.
- Beauty Gift Set: Korres Gift Set from ASOS - I absolutely love Korres and actually did a review of some of their stuff which you can read here. I think beauty gift sets are the perfect Mother's day treat, they're well priced for you, they're usually well wrapped and pretty and most of time, you get great value for money. I think Korres gift sets are the best, this one is £20.00 and it's full of natural products. I also really recommend Clarins, Clinique and Lancome when it comes to gift sets.
- A Cute Card: 'MumTastic!' - I always make my cards on Moonpig or get them from a cute little local shop called 'CATS' but I loved this 'MumTastic' card which I found on ASOS.
- A Photo Frame/Photobook - I love these two photo frames, I think it would be really nice to put some photographs of you together in the frame, I also love the little heart one too, I can't decide which I prefer, you can get the heart one from ASOS here.
- Chocolates - Most women love chocolate too, I love Hotel Chocolat and Charbonnel et Walker for delicious, classy chocolates. Thorntons always have some great deals on too but personally I prefer Hotel Chocolat, every time.
- Mulberry Keyring - If you're wanting to spend a little bit more this Mother's Day, head to Selfridges or your local Mulberry and get this adorable gold heart shaped key ring from Mulberry. I think this is something that someone could keep forever.
- The Body Shop Body Butter - I asked my Mum what she wanted for Mother's Day this year and she said some body butter from The Body Shop - body butter from The Body Shop is unbeatable, it's the best body butter both me and my Mum have ever used, they do such gorgeous gift sets with this included in it as well, I've seen one for £30.00 which literally includes everything inside it. The dream.
- Message In A Bottle - I came across this little cute gift whilst searching for Mother's Day gifts on the internet, I think this is just cute and it's only £3.50. Why not, I'm a sucker for cute teeny things.
- Jewellery from LVNDR - I know I'm plugging my own shop here but I do think LVNDR sells such gorgeous accessories, perfect for Mother's Day - plus everything comes adorably gift wrapped for free. I love the Queen Of Hearts ring, just £3.49 - you can get yourself something too!
- Pyjamas/Slippers/Bathrobes from FigLeaves - I know that as a girl, I love to be cosy, and I guess Mum's like to be cosy too. I was spoilt for choice when I came across the FigLeaves site, I fell in love with these two bathrobes, the studio of birds paradise robe and the snuggle spot print robe - I particularly liked that one because of it's name: 'snuggle'. I think it would be a nice idea to make a hamper full of slippers, comfy socks, a nice dressing gown and some chocolates for a Mum who likes to be cosy.
- Aspinal Heart Key ring - Last year for Mother's Day I bought my Mum the most beautiful leather heart key ring from Aspinal (see here) it cost me £20.00 and another £5.00 to get it gift wrapped and she absolutely loved it, I just want to get her the matching purse, bag and notepad now! Aspinal have some gorgeous little precious items under £50.00 which make gorgeous gifts for Mother's Day, plus you can add initals to it and make it really special. I have always loved Aspinal. I also love this heart coin purse - how cute.
- A Notebook - 'I Love Lists' - My Mum loves lists, so I thought this was very appropriate. I know that for most people, writing lists and having a diary is boring as it means it's work time, however, this bright little cheerful notepad is enough to brighten up anyones day. I'm such a huge fan of gorgeous stationary and I know that Mum's love it too. This comes in a set of three too, bargain!
- BodyShop Gift set - I love The Body Shop and they really are unbeatable when it comes to gifts. I think this little white musk set is adorable and you can get a really good gift set from around £6-£15.00.
- An Umbrella - I love this one from Paperchase, again, I found it on ASOS because I think it's much easier nowadays to shop online so tend to try and find gifts for gift guides on online sites. My Mum loves umbrella's and I just thought this one was really cute and dinky, it's got gorgeous little owls on it.
- Flowers - Come on, you can't go wrong with flowers. Every woman loves flowers, or the women I know do anyway. I love flowers, my Mum loves flowers. The ones on the collage are from Selfridges, you can buy them here - but you can literally buy flowers from everywhere for any budget nowadays, supermarkets do really good flowers at really competitive prices and MoonPig sell great flowers online with a free card, so do Next so they're both well worth checking out. I've always been a huge fan of MoonPig for Mother's Day.
What will you be getting your Mum this Mother's Day? What do you usually do on Mother's Day? Do you like the look of anything on this gift guide?
Lots of love, Em x
