Lucky me, I was given the Stylfile at the Leeds Blogger Event (which was amazing by the way, thank you SO much to the lovely girls who organised it) and I have wanted to try it for ages and ages, so was ecstatic when I found one in my goody bag. So I decided today was the day. One of my acrylics fell off (boohoo) so I have been able to try it out on that poor nail. I hate acrylics and I'm annoyed at myself for getting addicted to them again...but hey, I wanted nice groomed nails in London that I didn't have to paint or worry about, but now I'm wishing I just kept my natural long nails. So, the Stylfile range; at a first glance I thought; 'wow I love the packaging'. If you read my blog a lot, you'll notice that I always analyse the packaging of products, I know you're not meant to judge a book by it's cover, and I'm the first to stand by that, but packaging is very important when it comes to beauty products. I wasn't dissapointed, it is really pretty and bright. Recently. I prefer just plain packaging, but, as you can see it isn't too girlie, whoever has designed it really does have the right idea about minimalism, it's true, simplificty is the essence of success and I think the ratio between feminised and sophisticated is spot on with this product. It's bold enough to stand out but it isn't bold enough to look tacky. If you didn't watch the Apprentice then you'll probably wonder who the heck 'inventor Tom' is, but actually, it was most surprsing when he won. His tactics were clearly to remain calm and quiet, and he definitely won Sugar over with his S shaped nail file, of course, he has now expanded on his range which is brilliant for all of us females.

give yourself a whole new 'nail look' on the go with this, without damaging anything in your bag. The government should give this to every woman as an every day need. Who agrees? So, when I did hear about this product I thought, it will definately be high end, and cost at least £10.00, I'm not even sure what the average price for a nail file is nowadays but I know you can get a 4 pack of flimsy ones for a few pound in Boots, when I went on the Sainsburys website and I found out that this little gem is only £4.49 I was pleasantly surprised. I do think that this would make a really cute gift as well, and I may have to distribute these around Christmas time for my girlie friends, as it is both practical and pretty. I have a feeling that Sainsbury's are going to run out of these very soon, especially at such a good price. I also like that Tom didn't aim for a high end audience, and that it is still available for us high street shoppers.

Have you used either of the files? Which one will you try?
