Okay so I decided to make myself a beauty lust list because there are sooo many beauty products that I have read about recently and i've thought to myself, wow I want and NEED that. Aha, and it isn't even Christmas yet so I think I will have to treat myself to a few of these, as I know that by Christmas there will be so many more things that I want. I may start doing this at the start of every month and then set myself the goal of buying every product on my list (or at least a few of them!) by the end of the month. So, what exactly do I want, and why?
#1 - L'oreal Lumi Maquique - Highlighter , if you're a regular reader you will have seen me rave about this product over and over again. It's just a shame that it runs out so so quickly. Absolutely gutting actually how quickly it runs out, I need an endless supply as i'm forever replacing this product, but it genuinely is so soo good. I love it. If you missed my review you can read it here and see what the fuss is about.
#2 - Tea Tree Toner Water - Lush - Aaaah Lush...I used to be obsessed with Lush and I cannot remember the last time that I actually bought anything from there. I always forget that they don't just do bath bombs and I was really excited to read an interview with another blogger in this months Joliebox magazine and she said this toner is one of her favourite items, it apparently 'detoxifies oily skin...and takes control of troublesome pores.' This could just be hype, but I do think it's worth a shot after reading many positive reviews about it, especially because I currently use Dermalogica which is extremely expensive (particularly on a student income which is usually £0) and it doesn't have the calming properties of this Lush toner. I will be in touch after I have bought this product... which should be very soon as I really really want it!
#3- Nars eyeliner - Basically, I just want a product from Nars. Give me any product! I have never ever used anything from Nars and I think I owe it to myself to give this brand a shot. This eyeliner caught my eye though as it is like an actual felt pen. However, this is around £18 which is ridiculous for an eye liner, so I may have to look at some cheaper brands to help me out. What are the best Nars products to use? does anyone know or can anyone recommend any?
#4 - Ciate Caviar Nail Kit- If you read the article below this, you will see that I am dying to try the Caviar manicure! It basically makes your nails look 3D with gorgeous pearly type beads, of course it looks ridiculously cool. I really need to give it a go and I've promised my readers that I will try this as soon as I get my hands on the kit, I particularly like the white pearl one.
#5 - Dr Bragi, Marine bio-exfoliant- Aaahh after getting this in last months Joliebox I am hooked. I only got two small samples but I am going to have to buy the bigger version for Christmas as it just makes my skin feel polished, renewed and bright. This is going to be my new skin saviour and I can't wait to do a full on review of it. Thank you Joliebox for bringing this product into my life.
#6 - Make up Forever concealer palette- I just want this because Kim Kardashian uses it apparently... But also, I have some other make up from Make Up Forever and it is really quite good. Bring on the HD face, which Make up Forever promises to give you with their products. Unfortunately this is rare to find in the UK so I may have to wait until I go to American/Paris to find this product!
#7 - Duwop Lip Venom - I've wanted this ever since I read that Katie Price wears it to plump her lips, as much as people don't like Miss Price, I do think her lips are enviable (okay they are fake) BUT, I suppose this little lady could help along the way. I want that beesting effect without having to have surgery and I have heard amazing reviews about this tingly product.I have wanted it for soo long, they even sold it on one of my flights and I still didn't buy it. Maybe it's just not meant to be? I really need do want in my life though... hmm..
#8 - Cupcake face pack - Lush - Another one from Lush, I've really got into face packs recently after using GlamGlow. I then realised that I used to use Lush facepacks all the time and I haven't done one for ages now, in fact I haven't even entered a Lush store in ages. But, my fave of all time has to be their chocolate cup cake mask. I was reminded of this product when I saw another blogger review it and after reading the technicalities of it, it is good for the skin apparently it gives it a deep cleanse absorbs oil and moisturises. I think i'm gonna go buy myself this now and actually trial it as a blogger trying to help others out, not just a young child wanting to smear chocolate on my face!
Have you used any of the products above? What's on your October Lust List?
