It's really no surprise that I love dresses, a dress is the perfect wardrobe staple; perfect in Winter, perfect in Summer, perfect with a jacket, a coat, perfect with tights, perfect with bare legs... must I go on? Is there any occasion where you can't wear a dress? I think not. I'm a dress lover through and through and smock dresses make my heart skip a beat. I couldn't not share this beautiful little smock dress with you...
You may have seen this dress feature on my huge haul video yesterday - it's probably my favourite item this month! I got the dress in a size 6 and I'm so happy with how it fits, it's so comfortable and it's definitely something you could wear day or night - oh I do love a good wardrobe staple.
I was always worried that the over-sized style of a smock dress would make me look bigger than I actually am but I actually love the way this dress fits my body, it seems to pull me in exactly where I want to be pulled in, I feel so confident in it. Not to mention the cute little pattern, I love the colours - they're just right. I am far too excited to wear this with chunky tights and a big coat this Winter. I'm also loving my hair colour on these photos, I got it re-done at Umberto Giannini just before I headed to Canada.
