Top Holy Grail Beauty Items; Products I Can't Live Without

the best beauty products

Knowing I have to limit myself when it comes to how many beauty products I can fit into my case when I travel Canada is pretty tough (however there is a Sephora next door to my flat so I'll be stocking up as soon as I arrive), tough times call for desperate measures so I've decided to put together a post with my ultimate, holy-grail, cannot live without items. I've done this as a way to help me truly choose my favourite products of all time and also those which will 100% be coming with me in my case. Also, as a way to show you which products have stood the test of time and which products I just haven't put down since I got them. I've been using some of these products for years and I'm so excited to tell you about them, let's hope one of these is soon to become your holy grail...
the body shop body butter

the body shop wild argan oil body butter

the body shop argan oil body butterThe Body Shop Body Butters - This is just an ultimate must have, creamy, delicious, smelly (good smelly), nourishing, soothing, natural; need I say more? The Body Shop are famous for their body butters. They are the creators of the creamiest, yummiest body butters and I can't thank them enough. I am a huge fan always have been, I remember my Mum using them when I was little and she's always sworn by them - as has my Grandma. I pour them all over my body after showering and not only do I smell great, I feel firmer and smoother, but also, I feel like my skin looks so much more radiant too. My favourite thing about The Body Shop is that everything is natural so you're not putting any nastiness on your body either. My favourite is the Coconut Body Butter which is availble for £13.00 here.

macadamia moisturizing rinseMacadamia Hair Care - I absolutely love Macadamia and if you've read any of my hair care posts you'll know that I rate Macadamia extremely high. I am in love with their repair oil (available from FeelUnique here) but unfortunately mine has run out, my big bottle did last me for well over a year though. The oil is perfect for putting on the ends of the hair before blow drying. My second favourite product, another one which has run out is their deep repair mask which you can get here for £22 from FeelUnique, it's just amazing and I genuinely feel like it's brought my hair back to life. If I was a millionaire I would buy a tub of this every week. I wish I had an endless supply. I have noticed though that you can get more affordable versions which still use macadamia oil from F&F online here which are only £6.99 - I think I may try these next!

benefit the porefessional

Benefit The Porefessional - I'd say primers are my favourite beauty product of all time, I love how they help your make up stay on longer, act as a barrier between your skin and make up (hello good skin days) and generally make your skin look flawless pre-make up application. I wasn't impressed with Porefessional when I first used it but now I just couldn't live without it. I just wish the tube was bigger because I've been through about 5 of these as they run out really quickly! I need to buy a new one before I go to Canada. Available online at FeelUnique here.

kiehls midnight recovery concentrate
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - This is genuinely the dream product, I talk about it so much and rightly so. I think this is my 4th bottle now, it does last for ages so don't worry, this is a small yet mighty bottle and you only need two drops a night - I have been using it for years and I will never go back. This replenishes the skin and if you want to know how it's transformed my skin and find out more about it, you can read my full review here. This one is available to buy online here from Selfridges for £36.00 and I promise it's the best money you'll ever spend.

Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse

Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse - Another primer, I wasn't lying when I said I love them. I've been using this for years, it's actually one of the first primers I've ever bought and even though it's expensive, I keep going back for more. Another product that's run out and I'm so upset about it because it truly is my favourite primer ever and living without it is pretty tough. This almost covers my face with a mousse-like perfection and makes me look flawless without any make up over the top. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone and can't rave about it enough. Another one which is available at Selfridges online here.

he-shi express liquid tanHe-Shi Express Liquid Tan - When one of my friends text me the other day asking which fake tan to buy, I knew that she just had to get He-Shi - once you go He-Shi, you'll never want to use anything else *warning*. I did a full review of He-Shi so if you're a fake tan fan, make sure you give it a read. This is just my dream tan, I haven't actually applied fake tan for months because I've still got a natural tan from my holiday but when I do apply tan again, it will most likely be He-Shi! This is the perfect colour and it makes me feel so smooth and natural. Plus, the bottle may look small but you can get loads of applications from it. You can buy it online here and I highly recommend that you try it if you're looking for a new fake tan!

flowerbomb viktor and rolf

Flowerbomb Perfume - An easy one for me because I've been wearing this perfume for as long as I can remember. This is my signature scent and is closely followed by Jour D'Hermes. I'm happy to say that Flowerbomb has finally gone down in price, it's now £50.00 for a 50ml bottle at Selfridges (online here) which is a little bit sweeter than what I used to pay!

cidal soap

Cidal Soap - I need to make sure that I buy bars and bars of this before I travel Canada, this stuff is my saviour. Basically it's just an anti-bacterial soap that I was told to use when my skin got really bad and ever since, I've not even grumbled about my skin. Read my full review of it here (did I mention it costs just £1.99 for 4 bars?!)

the body shop blush in macaroon

The Body Shop Blush in Macaroon - Last but certainly not least, The Body Shop blusher in macaroon. This tiny little beauty has transformed my make up bag and I've been using it for months now. I really hope it never runs out or gets discontinued. I feel alive when I apply this onto my cheeks, it's my favourite colour and favourite blusher ever - this is coming from a girl who rarely wore blush before this was introduced to me. This isn't just a blush though, in true Body Shop style it's ingredients include vitamin E and marula oil making it make-up and skincare in one. The best £8.00 you will ever spend. Available online here.

Have you used any of the products above? Would you like to use any of them?

Lots of love, Em x
