It's not often that we get sunny weekends in England so I decided to make the most of it this weekend. I love writing about what I've been up to so I thought I'd take my camera with me and share my weekend with you. I promise to start taking my blog with me more often to the places I go...
When I woke up, the sun was shining through my blinds, I knew it was going to be a glorious day...
I woke up to some of Mum's delicious freshly squeezed orange juice...
not forgetting some juicy strawberries too.
When lunch time came around, we dined al-fresco. I love our garden, I really do and it's lovely to be able to enjoy it. We had pulled pork pittas. There really is no place like home!
As it got even hotter, (it was 23 degrees in the North - we're used to 0!) we headed to a local park to soak up some rays.
As soon as we arrived, we grabbed the biggest ice cream available...
The donkeys didn't seem too interested in us...
neither did the goats.
So we headed to the flower garden...
Walls upon walls of my favourite things...
...flowers!
Literally, we're talking millions of them, everywhere, in all their glory.
We found a bridge and decided to take a break.
Bag: Aspiga
I made a wish...
Then we found a field full of daisies...
Which could only mean one thing...
daisy chain making!
After laying on the grass and soaking up the sunshine, it was time to head home...
What did you get up to this weekend? Was it sunny where you were? Do you love flowers as much as me?
Lots of love, Em x
