If you follow me on instagram you'll have seen that I did a photoshoot on Sunday, exciting times! I have basically compiled a little 'pre-Summer look-book' for y'all, as unfortunately Summer isn't really here yet, so here are a few of my favourite items in the run up to Summer and this has got me excited to find more Summer items. I will hopefully do a holiday look-book soon, Yes I am primarily a beauty blogger but hey, who said us beauty lovers don't love clothes too? So welcome, to the first of my look-books... A massive thank you to MissGuided who have helped me out with this, I just hope they like the way that I've put some of their items together... Here comes Summer...
Prestia Zip Detail Tailored Shorts, MissGuided | Latrecia Bandage Waist Crop Top, MissGuided.
My favourite outfit of the shoot, I just randomly threw it together and didn't realise how much I would love it, I have previously worn these shorts with an over sized black tee and black tights to a meal, so I was surprised at how well it went with a long sleeved white top as well. Perfect cute little tailored shorts which are easy to wear whether thats on the beach, out for lunch or even to a cocktail bar.

It was really fun playing around with this cute little Spring outfit. I can imagine this at a cute garden party whilst making Pimms and playing swingball. Perfect family outfit, very cute.
Over sized black tee, All Saints.
I decided to add this to the look-book because it goes so well with every other item on here. I've teamed it with the sequin skirt, tucked it into the shorts, you name it. It goes with everything. This is perfect for an easy day look but it can be put with any of the other items to create an evening look.
Pink open front playsuit, MissGuided.
I love this little playsuit. I've become obsessed with playsuits recently, this one is perfect as it takes you from day to night, you could pop some tights or a jacket on with it in the night when it gets chilly but easily wear it for a picnic date in the day. It's so playful and just screams 'Spring'.
Neon Floral Shorts, MissGuided | White Vest Top, Topshop | Black Tank Crop Top, Topshop.
I love these shorts, they will go with basically any basic top, whether thats cropped or long sleeved. Everyone seems to be loving vibrant floral prints at the moment. This is your Thailand/Ibiza outfit sorted or maybe team it with a plain long sleeved black top for a sophisticated girlie cocktail bar crawl.
Aztec Sequin Shorts, MissGuided | White Cropped Tee, Topshop.
I fell in love with these shorts as soon as I slipped them on. They fit perfectly and hug your body in all the right places. Again, they're so vibrant that all they need teaming with is a simple top. The perfect stand out shorts for a Summer cocktail party or a night on the town.
Leotard, Topshop.
Leotards have been on the market for a long time now, but they really are timeless. Pair them with waist high trousers or shorts for a sophisticated 'shopping in London' or New York look. Or put them with a pretty skirt for a beach look.
Beige Mac, Zara | Lipstick, Arbonne.
We still have cold weather in England, which means macs and raincoats are still acceptable. This little number is from Zara, and for me, it's the epitome of Summer, beige, light weight and it even has gorgeous nautical collars. I feel like this is very Mollie King from the Saturdays.

Next up, bikinis. I can't wait to start buying them. Next stop, I need to book a holiday or three.
