Hello everyone, so because I did a January favourites post earlier in the week and featured make up/skin care, I thought this time, i'd feature hair care. If you know me, you know that I love anything to do with hair, especially when it comes to caring for my hair, because due to having bleached roots, i've got to do a lot more than the normal person does in order to keep my hair in good condition. So, I thought i'd show you my favourite hair care items of January, and the items that i'll be continuing to use in Feb. Happy February by the way yay!
Now, being the hair health freak that I am, I couldn't not tell you all about my favourite products this month for hair health. I decided to write this post because I have realised how much my hair has grown this month and how much nicer and thicker it looks, well, it must be down to these products.
Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo - Ah, Macadamia is my favourite hair care brand, my hair dresser swears by it and so does nearly every hair professional that I know. It's the best thing I have ever used in terms of hair care. The shampoo is worth every penny as it really does restructure damaged hair. This shampoo is designed to add moisture and protection, perfect for replenishing dry, damaged hair. I think the bottle does last a long time as well, it's £!5.00 for a massive one, which isn't that bad considering it's basically a treatment and shampoo in one. I really do swear by Macadamia.
Yuko Lock in Colour treatment - I've popped this onto my treatment list because I do think this has helped with my hair this month, they say that it: 'Moisturises dry, color treated hair while Aqua Gold, silk protein, and amino acids restore the hair’s vital nutrients and shine.' and I really have seen a change since using this, so I tend to sleep in this or leave it on for half an hour before I wash my hair, just so that it can really work on my hair.
Yuko Anti-Frizz Leave In Conditioner - This is something which I've been spritzing on my hair every time after i've washed it. Again, I really have seen noticable results. I also doubt this product will ever run out as you only need two or three sprays to cover the whole head. What they say: 'A special heat-activated leave-in conditioner that utilizes a unique blend of natural plant oils for detangling and deeply revitalising the hair while heat styling further enhances the effects of the oils.' I also use a L'oreal version which is quite similar but it doesn't use natural plant oils and I doubt it's half as revitalising. I love this product.
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment - My hair dresser uses this every time she's washed my hair, and it apparently makes the hair dry 50% quicker after blow drying, but also gives intense nourishment, makes hair frizz free, shiny and it has natural UV protection. I have noticed that it takes me about 5 minutes to blow dry my hair if I use this. I absolutely love it, you literally need one squirt, if that, not even a ten piece coin size in your palms, and rub it through wet hair. It really does make my hair feel strong and thick. I will keep using this product over and over again.
Above is a photo from iheartit.com and it really is my hair inspiration, one day hopefully with the help of products like those above, i will look like this! What are your fave hair products and hair growth tips?
Lots of love, Em x
