If you've read any of my skincare posts recently, you'll know that I'm pretty obsessed with skincare at the moment, it's my passion, honestly. I love having fresh, clean skin because after all, this leads to a flawless base for make up application and there's nothing I love more than a natural, radiant, flawless skin base. Over the last month, I've really got into my deep cleansing and face masks too, so I wanted to talk to you today a little bit about my new loves, in particular, a pretty special new device. Note to self: this is coming everywhere with me.

Next week, I head off to the Maldives and Sri Lanka for an exciting trip, it's inspired me to finally write my Vietnam post. An oldie but a goldie, one I feel I should write because so many people are visiting Vietnam nowadays. I wasn't going to publish this post because I visited Vietnam quite some time ago and have therefore, featured it more than enough times on my blog, however, back in May I headed back to Vietnam and have decided to share a little photo diary of my week in Hanoi. I also think it's a nice comparison point with my 2014 trip too. I'm sorry this is so late by the way. On our Asia trip, we chose to do one whole week in Hanoi because I enjoyed it so much last time around, so let's see what I thought this time. Also, I've put some Hanoi tips and tricks in too so you can have the best time ever if you do go!

The best way to spend a Sunday afternoon? (Apart from on a beach somewhere of course), brunching with my loved ones. If you follow me on social media you'll know I'm pretty obsessed with brunch. Brunch is my thing and slowly but surely, the North are starting to understand brunch. First, I visited Gaucho for their Electro Brunch and then, this month, I decided to try brunch at one of my other favourite hideouts, Pintura. I know my last post was a foodie post so I promise after this one, we'll have a beauty or travel post but it's Sunday, I couldn't not share this.

It's no secret that I love eating, so when Asian fusion food is on offer, I can hardly say no. When in London recently, me and Matt headed on a 'day time date' to somewhere I've wanted to eat at for a long time; Chai Wu. Chai Wu is in Harrods, tucked near the shoe section (dangerous). Let's see what we got up to!

Hello hello hello, I really didn't know what to write about today but then suddenly, it hit me. Let's talk about turning negative situations, into positive ones. I can be my own biggest enemy sometimes, over-thinking and getting over emotional in my own little head and worrying over nothing. Recently, I’ve been trying really hard to turn negatives into positives. So here’s a little post, about why I’m doing that and some little situations in life where we can turn negatives into positives.

Hello hello hello! Today it's an essential item post from me! Rather than doing a favourites post just yet (it isn't the end of the month AND I have way too many favourites this month!) I wanted to talk about essential things I've been loving and using this Summer. There are some absolutely epic discoveries on here and they're genuinely a huge part of my make up bag/life at the moment so I'm excited to introduce you to them! Let's begin!

Most of you may know my hair story, many of you will not. When I was 15, I was hair extension obsessed. I've tried them all, clip ins, celebrity bonded extensions, cold bonded, keratin - you name it, I've tried them. For years, I was the queen of extensions. I've always loved the idea of having super long hair, as long as it could possibly be. I wore extensions religiously for at least 4 years. I'd sleep in them. I wouldn't be seen without them. They were my protection. They covered up my lack of confidence (I've always disliked my face) and yeh, I guess extensions acted as a shield for that. Hair extensions were a genuine addiction and one which seriously came back to bite me and destroy my hair but mainly, my confidence. Years on, I finally feel happier and like my confidence is coming back. Let's discuss how my hair destroyed my confidence, how I've built that back up and obviously, my top products for strengthening and fixing damaged hair.

Recently, I went for a meeting with a London-based nutritionist and trust me, this lady knows her stuff. We chatted over tea about my lifestyle, my diet and more whilst she drew me up a nutrition plan but also, I picked her brain about wellness in general. This is something I'll be blogging about really soon but it really made me want to do a blog post all about feeling good, and looking after yourself inside and out. I wanted to write down a few tips I learnt yesterday but also, a few of my top tips for wellness.

As much as I love America/Canada/Mexico and far away places, Asia? Yes please... there's something about jumping on a 2-4 hour flight to a beautiful place in Europe. Greece has always been a favourite of mine, it's somewhere I went every Summer during my childhood and probably one of my favourite places in Europe. The food is amazing and the scenery is stunning. Recently, I headed back to Crete for a relaxing break with the girls. It's time to talk about that!

Fresh air, pretty dresses and giggles - just a few of the things that uplift me and brighten my day. It's the little things that count. As I've got older, I've learnt that. I think it's so important to see every day as an opportunity and see the good in each day. It's much easier said than done, often I find myself getting overly stressed, tetchy or upset and the rational me says 'come on Em, life is for loving and embracing, some people would do anything to be here, living and breathing' but there's often that over-emotional part of me that gets worked up, overwhelmed or a little too stressed out, it's so important to take time, relax and realise that life could always be so much worse. So, when Starbucks asked me to to talk about things that uplift me in celebration of their new Teavana range, I couldn't say no. Any opportunity to share some positivity!

I read something really interesting the other day, it said: I wish we could make bloggers do a normal 9-5 job so they can see what it's like to really work. It bothered me actually, it bothered me quite a bit. It has however given me a very nice idea for a blog post. I've wanted to talk about blogging and what 'blogging full time' actually entails for quite some time, but it's a tough topic to talk about because well, blogs are generally wanderlusty and full of beautiful things, but, you know me, I love to tackle personal posts and I always get a good response from you so challenge accepted. I also want to knock the whole 'doing something creative' isn't a job thing on the head (now that really bothers me), I also want to talk about freelance life in general. I keep asking you guys on Twitter what you want me to write about and a few of you said freelancing - so here we go, the ups, the downs, the everythings, let's talk about blogging as a 'real life' job and freelancing.
