Hello hello! If you're subscribed to me on YouTube (if not it would mean the world to me if you could quickly click here and subscribe!) you'll probably have seen my top body oils video and heard about how much I love moisturisers and body oils. I am hooked to making my body feel smooth, happy and moisturised. After this video, the lovely people at AromaWorks contacted me with a body oil I actually hadn't tried and I jumped at the chance to give this one a go. I also feel like my blog has been lacking beauty recently so it feels oh-so good to be writing about beauty again. Let's discuss...
I've never heard of AromaWorks as a brand before but the reason I wanted to try this body oil is because the products are made with the finest natural ingredients - that's me hooked in already. If you've been reading my blog for a long time you'll know that I am a sucker for good, natural ingredients as they don't damage my skin. I like to put good things on my skin.
Packaging: First up, I love the simple packaging, it certainly looks lovely in my new bathroom (room your coming tour way very soon! I'm so excited to show you).
Product: I went for the Purify Body Oil as I wanted something to help calm my muscles after working out. This body oil has lavender in it (one of my favourite smells ever) to help soothe aches and essential oils of Cypress and Geranium (plus loads more) to help detox the body and boost circulation.
This little baby has 7 bio-active natural ingredients in it so I don't feel bad for coating it over my whole body after a long day or a tough workout. I put this on after showering three times a week and my muscles do ache less but mainly, my skin feels soft and it sinks in easily. I hate that oily feeling from oils but love how they make my skin feel so it's all about finding oils that actually sink in rather than leave you feeling wet and uncomfortable. Luckily this doesn't feel sticky and doesn't take long at all to sink into the skin.
It smells incredible too, it has a nice refreshing yet spicy smell to it so I always leave my bathroom feeling like I've been to a spa! I went on a spa day recently with my Mum (read about my day here if you missed that!) and writing this has made me want to go have a nice long bath and then coat my body in this afterwards! Spa trip anyone?!
