Last weekend I decided to mix some prints and take my new rain coat for a spin. When the lovely people at Joules asked me if I'd like to take their Spring range for a test drive, I could hardly say no could I? The red coat itself screams vavavoom! It's very different to my usual style but who wants to play it safe all the time? Not me! I am a country girl at heart anyway so it gave me a great excuse to get out into the local British countryside...
I chose their beautiful striped shirt - I know this will get a lot of wear over the Spring and Summer months, particularly over bikinis and with denim shorts or even with a pretty white floaty skirt - it fits so nicely and I think it's really flattering. The skirt unfortunately is really big on me (I had to get a size 8 because the 6 had sold out) and I'd say it's designed for someone a lot taller but I do love the polka dots with the stripes - I think it's really playful and cute - I might have to try and shrink it in the washing machine!
I painted my nails with the new Models Own iced nail polish collection - I am obsessed with Models Own at the moment, they keep bringing out the most amazing collections.
The shirt is so well made and the colours are just stunning, I love the flowers on the cuff.
I really think the colours all work really well together rather than clashing
Let's ignore my awful knees (blame the scars on that time I fell off my bike whilst cycling through Central Park in New York!)
Joules wellies are probably the most stunning wellies I have ever come across - they are truly stunning - I actually featured them in my recent haul video too because I truly adore them. Have you ever seen such beautiful 'I don't want to wear them because they're so perfect' wellies?! I just need a festival to attend now please! They are perfect for walking through the countryside in though too! More countryside walks please!
I adore the brightness of the rain jacket, it's really fun and happy and it just makes me want to go outside and explore!
So there we have it, a new favourite brand for me, Joules! I feel Spring ready. I think Joules is very well priced but I did notice you can get some great deals on Joules at VoucherBin!
