Hello! So this week marks one month in Canada - how crazy?! It feels like only yesterday I was crying my eyes out in Manchester airport, teddy in one hand, multiple suitcases by my side and me breaking down as I had to say 'see you soon' to my Mum. The best part? I did it and I'm so glad I took the plunge. I faced one of my biggest fears; the fear of the un-known and entered this new culture and country. I wanted to share my first month with you...
I promised before I left that I would document all of my adventures on my blog and YouTube, as most of you know, I'm still pretty new to YouTube but I promise to keep working on it so if you could click the subscribe button, I would be eternally grateful and shower you with virtual hugs and muffins - I'd love to know what you'd like me to film so pretty please leave any video suggestions below! (more virtual muffins for you if you do!)
It is almost impossible to edit 1 month worth of adventures and memories into one 5 minute video, but I think and hope, I did the first month of my trip justice and captured some of Canada's magic. After all, there are some memories and emotions that a camera can't capture. I think I'm going to talk about why I took the plunge and came away for a little while and how I coped with travelling alone next time if anyone is interested in that. So where am I heading next? Well, the world is my oyster and I cannot wait to share some more of my adventures with you... England, I'll be back very soon and I already miss you so very much - I can't wait to sit in Betty's with my family and do lots of British things with my favourite people. As much as I love Canada, coming away from home has really made me realise just how much I adore and appreciate everything about it. Travelling is amazing but home really is where the heart is.
Thanks again for supporting me on this journey and coming along for the ride with me! Let me know what you'd like to see from me next please!
Have you ever travelled? Have you ever jumped on a plane alone before? Tell me about your experiences! What would you like to see on my YouTube channel?
Lots of love, Em x
