Outfit 1: Date Night or Girls Night Out
Coat: C/O Rose Wholesale
I've never worn a 'kitten heel' before but I actually love how this look turned out. I think these shoes add such a bold yet sophisticated edge to the outfit. I felt like a princess.
Nail Varnish: Penguin Chic by Tanya Burr Lips and Nails
I love these shoes, they're sophisticated and elegant and the studs give them a bold edge. I loved pairing these beautiful, glamorous (and easy to walk in) heels with such a pretty, girlie dress. The girlieness of the outfit is toned down by the studs. Last year studs were really huge so it's nice to see them making a comeback, I've always been a huge fan of the studded look, I think it adds so much to an item. These shoes are so versatile, they are the ultimate accessory for a date night, cocktails with your girlie friends or even to a prom. They would even look absolutely stunning at a wedding. Who said shoes can only be worn once? Certainly not me, I would even put these with a pair of black skinny jeans and a leather jacket for a casual girlie dinner date. The possibilities are endless!
Outfit 2: Too much dancing?
When the night is over and you've done too much dancing (or had one too many cocktails), but you don't want to take your gorgeous heels off (understandably), that's when you pull these babies out of your clutch. I put on this pair of Deichmann flats with exactly the same clothes to give it more of a comfy feel and actually I think that this has transformed the outfit into the perfect Summer picnic outfit (or, just something that makes your walk home a little bit more comfortable after a night out).
These shoes should win an award for the comfiest flats, some flats are actually too 'flat' and they really hurt my feet, but I could walk all day long in these - picnic anyone? I can never find flat shoes that actually fit me, I have quite wide feet and these honestly fit perfectly, I didn't want to take them off.
Outfit 3: Street Style/Shopping:
T-shirt: Etsy (old)
Leather Jacket: Zara (very old season, probably vintage now!)
Jeans: All Saints
I'm guilty of wearing black pretty much all the time but these shoes brighten up my outfit perfectly and stop it from being so boring. These shoes are comfortable, so they're perfect for a long day of shopping, I threw on some casual jeans and a comfy tee with them and then grabbed my huge Zara shopping bag (empty of course and ready to fill with everything I see) and my Zara leather jacket for some added grunge.
At last, the perfect shoes to waken up my dark wardrobe.
Outfit number 4: Oh You Spring Thing!
With it being March now (time is flying so fast!) I decided to end my outfit post by styling these shoes with the perfect Spring outfit. Winter is on its way out and these shoes get me ready and excited for Spring. I thought this gorgeous pastel blue dress was a risky choice with black and cream shoes, but actually, it works and I couldn't be happier with it - just goes to show that these shoes look great with anything. I'd wear this for a Summer lunch or garden party or even a wedding (oh gosh, again, the possibilities are endless). I've been transformed from a girl who only wears sky scraper platforms to a girl who's fallen truly, madly, deeply in love with these Caroline Blomst/Deichmann shoes.
Dress: C/O In Love With Fashion
I hope I've shown you just how versatile these shoes really are, it was hard to decide what outfits to wear with them because I had so many ideas.
(Yes, I do love shoes).
A closer look at the shoes
I was lucky enough to sample a pair of shoes and I wanted to show you them really close up so that you can see the detail. As you can see, these are great quality shoes and they're actually so so comfy. I love the beige with black, it's so sophisticated. Another great thing about the T-Bar Court shoes is that they're only £24.99 - they look like they cost at least £50 so I am very impressed with the good price. Shop the T-Bar Court shoes here.
I love the detailing of the bottom of these shoes, every little detail has been truly thought out. As mentioned, these shoes are the perfect go-to comfortable Summer flats, ready to brighten up and add excitement to any outfit. These loafers come in at only £17.99 which is incredible. Shop them here.
I hope you liked this post, I really loved shooting it and writing it, I truly hope that the judges love my entry because to win the competition would honestly be life changing for me. As you can see, I'm already reading the Deichmann trend blog and getting so excited at the thought of being their guest blogger. Thank you to Caroline and Deichmann for this fabulous collaboration, you've opened my eyes and shown me that the right shoes can make any outfit look truly fabulous. After all, Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes, can change your life.
You can find out more about the shoes and see the rest of the collection (and shop it - eek!!!) here!
Do you love these shoes as much as me? Do you like the outfits that I've put together? Have you bought shoes from Deichmann before? How would you style these shoes?
Lots of love, Em x
