Hello everyone, so something exciting happened last night and I cannot wait to talk to you about it. As most of you know, i've been ill for some time now and i'm still on antibiotics, so this was the first time i've been out in about two weeks. I'm not going to lie and pretend that i'm a huge GirlsAloud fan, because i'm not, I absolutely admire their fashion senses and how beautiful they all are. But, unlike the rest of the world, I am not a Cheryl Cole lover. I've discussed this on a blog post a while ago, i've summed up what I love about her (incredible looks, fashion sense and my sympathy for how her husband betrayed and cheated on her) but also, the main reasons that I don't like her, so you can read that by clicking here. But, 'TEN' is Girls Aloud reunion tour, and I found myself singing along to every single song, I realised that actually, Girls Aloud were the girl band of my childhood era. I'm excited to tell you all about it... It's all thanks to Capital FM that I got to experience this glitz and glam in true girlie style.
Of course, the entrance was incredible. In true Girls Aloud 'girls run the world' style. They flew in, with Britney Spears/Beyonce-esque silver outfits. Of course, they pulled them off.
The outfits were very risque, but obviously, Girls Aloud could pull them off. I think out of all the girls, who are all stunning in their own ways, Nadine is my favourite. Throughout each performance she looked effortlessly beautiful. Her hair is just insane, it looks so natural but it is long and layered and just so full of life. I just kept watching her hair throughout the whole performance. It is perfect.
This was by far my favourite part of the whole show, as you're probably aware if you're a regular reader, I absolutely love Victoria's Secret. This part of the show, was Girls Aloud basically dressed as Victoria's Secret angels. Of course, they all looked incredible. I wish I could have got a better shot of this but I was so mesmerised by how insanely good they looked.
I thought this part of the show was lovely, the girls came right out into the crowd, as you can see, I got some amazing photos because they were literally so close to me I could have touched them. I really loved how they interacted with the audience and spent a lot of time waving to fans, blowing kisses to fans and talking to everyone. The Girls Aloud TEN Reunion tour was clearly emotional for them because as you can see on many of the photographs, they cried quite a lot throughout the concert.
I had to add a shot of Cheryl Cole on the reunion tour because I know you all love her so much. I am not a fan of Cheryl's new tattoo it's unfeminine and too big but her body is very much inspirational!
The outfits above were easily my favourite, I absolutely loved the old school style and Cheryl's leather leggings which were black and sparkly at the side were incredible. Her cropped tee was literally to die for and I want to try and find her exact outfit. I will find a cropped top like that and make it sociably acceptable to wear it!
The finale was an incredible moment, I knew all the words and I took my Mum as a treat for being such an incredible Mum an she really enjoyed the night which made it so much more special. I felt so lucky to be able to experience Girls Aloud TEN Reunion Tour as I wonder if this is the last tour that they'll ever do? Especially because Girls Aloud are a band who have been around throughout my entire childhood. This is all down to the lovely people at CAPITAL FM who kindly gave me the tickets. What an incredible night, and I now have a new style crush - Nadine Coyle.
What are your opinions on Girls Aloud?
