Hello everyone, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This is my haul post to show you some of the goodies that I got for Christmas. Now i've seen on Twitter a lot of people complaining saying how much they hate posts of people 'boasting' about what they got for Christmas. I'd just like to outline that I realise I am very lucky and I am extremely thankful to my wonderful Mum who works especially hard to treat me and my brother once a year. I'd also like to point out that since the age of 15 I have had a job, and for two years I worked two jobs at the same time, so I am definately not spoilt as I have always paid for everything myself. I hate my Mum giving me money and would never take money from her. Anyway, enough of the doom and gloom, welcome to my first ever Christmas post! Below you can see a selection of my Christmas presents...
I am extremely grateful for all of my presents and can't thank everyone enough who went out of their way to spoil me. I was also lucky enough to get a MAC book pro earlier in the year which was an early Christmas present from my Mum. It's literally the best thing ever and I am so thankful. I got so many pyjamas which is amazing because they're easily my favourite thing about Christmas, new pjs. Below you can see some highlights of the day, family is definitely the most important thing to me when it comes to being home for Christmas, that's why it upsets me so much that I have to work on Christmas eve and boxing day and pretty much the whole Christmas period - I feel that I never get the chance to spend time with my family.
Christmas eve spent in the village pub meeting up with my old friends. I am wearing a hair piece from Annabelle's wigs which I discussed in my last blog post. You can buy them here...
Eye make up: YSL mascara
Face: Dior perfect foundation
Mac mineralize powder
Lips: Mac myth lipstick
Leather jacket: Zara
Dress: All Saints
Tan: Xen-tan Morrocan Oil.
Hair piece: Annabelle's wigs
All in all, i am quite upset that Christmas is over, it seems that it's just one day which ends really quickly, there is always such a hype in the build up and in a flash it's gone. Goodbye December, bring on January 2012. I vow that next year I will be able to relax over Christmas and actually see my family, instead of having to worry about rushing off to work early the next day. For me, family comes first. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas.
I'd also just like to take a moment to say rest in peace to those loved ones who were innocently taken and couldn't celebrate Christmas this year. Remember, it's not about what's under the tree, it's about who's around it and who's watching over you.
Lots of love,
