French beauty products, Belgium haul! Bioderma, La Roche-Posay and Caudalie reviewed

Hello everyone! as many of you are aware, I was in Belgium last week, and whilst I am super depressed to be back in dull England, at least it means I can get back to blogging. I of course, in Belgium was on the look out for suitable treats for me to review for you.

After studying French at A-Level, I've always had a passion for the French language and culture this is why I love French pharmacies. Below you can see a few items that I picked up. I didn't buy much because it was all so expensive, but at least I got to taste a bit of the French beauty culture.

I bought the Bioderma Crealine H2O Micelle Solution because I've read so many people on blogs discussing this product. For me though, it is just an expensive make up remover. I wouldn't say i've seen a difference in my skin yet but I have only used it a few times. I wouldn't ever just use this as I don't feel that just wiping something across my face cleans it well enough. I think this was about 15 euros for a 250ml bottle, which is expensive when you think that it is simply a make up remover. You can buy a 500ml bottle online for £10.00 though so maybe I just got ripped off in an expensive shop. When i've delved further into this product, it says that it: 'specially formulated for the sensitive normal to dry skins, Bioderma Crealine H2O Micelle Solution guarantees a mild cleansing of face and eyes (eliminates waterproof make up). Micells allow a perfect micro-emulsion of the stains while respecting the cutaneous balance (soap free, physiological pH. Soothing and decongestant active ingredients prevent from sensations of irritation, often linked to cleansing.Excellent cutaneous and occular tolerance.Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, phenoxyethanol-free.' so that probably explains the price, and i'm sure millions of beauty bloggers who review this product can't be wrong, so I will just persevere with it and see if there's any change to my skin.

My next purchase was La Roche Posay Toleriane Gel Moussant Adoucissant. I think I've used La Roche-Posay in a beauty box before and I liked the packaging so I just went for this product. I can't find this product anywhere in the UK, so after translating a French description of the product, it basically says that it is a 'softening foaming gel for cleaning and cleansing with water hypersensitive skin, normal and combination.Its formula contains no fragrance, no preservatives, no soap (pH 5.5).' Which basically sounds exactly like the Bioderma cleanser above, apart from it is in a gel form which needs to be washed off. When you put this on your face, it does feel very thick and heavy and washes off like a face mask. It almost feels like you are putting a thick silk mask on your face, and my skin does feel really good after it.

Last but not least, I bought my self some Caudalie products. I have used these in a beauty box before and literally love their moisturisers. However, they were sooo expensive so instead I just got this cute little gift set which includes a lip balm and a hand lotion. I never really use hand lotions but it's getting to winter so my hands will probably go horrible soon. I love the lipbalm, it feels really natural. The lip conditioner 'caudalie pulpe vitaminee' is around £5.00 and basically it says that it is a 'natural moisturizing balm for lips. Anti-aging formula with antioxidants to soothe and treat dry cracked lips.' So no different from any others really, but I wanted to treat myself to some French products. I wanted to try some VICHY products but they were all really expensive. Below you can see some photos from my trip;

So I hope you liked my Belgium Haul, hopefully next time I go i'll be able to find more products.
